The Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies beta will be available across two distinct periods: Early Access from October 3-5 and Open Beta from October 5-7. This four-day window provides ample opportunity for players to experience the new Zombies mode before its full launch. The developer delayed the Zombies launch by 24 hours from its initial October 2 start to ensure game stability, a first for the franchise including Zombies in a pre-release testing phase. This simultaneous launch of multiplayer and zombies aims to distribute server load.
Players can spend the initial 24 hours of the beta unlocking content up to Level 20 in multiplayer, which will carry over to Zombies. Weapon progression also transfers, allowing players to utilize their M15 Mod 0 Loadout and gain levels.
The beta build introduces new features such as the Wisp Tea Perk-a-Cola, Fire Works Ammo Mod, and Toxic Growth Field Upgrade. Players can practice new wall-jump mechanics and engage in unlimited high rounds with no cap. Solo players will benefit from Save & Quit functionality, with the developer monitoring progress towards Round 999.
To maintain the integrity of the full launch experience, Easter Eggs, Side Quests, and dedicated Zombies crew characters will not be present in the beta. The Necrofluid Gauntlet Wonder Weapon is exclusive to the full launch map, but the Ray Gun and Ray Gun Mark II can be obtained from the Mystery Box on the Vandorn Farm location.
Complimentary GobbleGums, including Round Off, Power Vacuum, and Gift Card, will be available for testing during the beta. However, these beta GobbleGums will not transfer to Black Ops 6 or Black Ops 7 inventories. The complete Augments system, featuring 192 options (66 new), will be available at the November 14 launch, not during the beta.
A new Zombies Training Course will debut alongside Survival mode to assist new players in learning core mechanics before engaging in matches.
