    Start by breaking the ? Box and proceeding up the hill.

    Kill the enemy and jump over the obstacle.

    Jump on the Bounce Box and bounce between the two boxes for Wumpa Fruit.

    Head forward through the mud, collect Fruit, and avoid the pit to your left.

  1. Jump onto the platform to the right and collect all Wumpa Fruit.
  2. Break the boxes and jump onto the platform to the right.
  3. On the next platform to the right is a box with a life in it.
  4. Jump down to the next platform, break the box, and ride back up to the level to complete this short and easy bonus stage.

SECRET AREA:

  1. Break all boxes near the start and jump across platforms to the right.
  2. Jump on top of turtles to turn them over so you can kill them.
  3. Further along, there are two more boxes and a checkpoint.
  4. Jump onto the next platform and jump over or on the bird.
  5. On the next platform, break the box and jump to the next platform.
  6. Break the two boxes here, then slide and jump to reach the platform with boxes above the Nitro (explosive) crates.
  7. After this platform, jump down onto the one to the right with the Arrow Crate. Break the crate and jump up to the platform on the right.
  8. Jump onto the pink bird's back and quickly jump from there onto the platform with boxes. You have very little time before it lowers its head.
  9. Jump onto the next bird and jump to the platform with a single box. Break it and collect the life.
  10. Drop down to your left and break the boxes.
  11. Proceed to the right and jump over the bird.
  12. On the last platform, break the ! Box (which destroys nearby Nitro crates) and the normal box. Spin into both and ride the platform back up.

GETTING THE BLUE GEM:

Finish the level without breaking ANY boxes. The gem will appear at the end where gems normally appear. To get over the wall of boxes behind the checkpoint in the enclosed area, slide and then jump.

Tips
  • To get the Silver gem, access the SECRET AREA by body slamming the strange thing on the ground near the start.
  • To get the Blue Gem, finish the level without breaking any boxes.
  • In the bonus stage, you cannot break boxes while in the mud.
  • Use the mushroom that appears after killing rats to bounce out of pits.
  • Jump on turtle shells to flip them, then jump on them again to bounce higher.
