Part Four: Citadel City

Citadel City races in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled include Cortex Castle, N. Gin Labs, Hot Air Skyway, and Oxide Station. Learn strategies and rewards.

Cortex Castle [Trophy Race]

1. Race on the Cortex Castle track for 3 laps.
2. Be mindful of ninety-degree turns and Spiders that may drop down.
3. Utilize Power Sliding for better cornering.
4. A shortcut is available around the hairpin-like area, requiring a hop to reach.

N. Gin Labs [Trophy Race]

1. Race on the N. Gin Labs track for 3 laps.
2. This track features ninety-degree turns and turbo pads for boost-chaining.
3. Barrels drop in one section; a Mask power-up (a type of power-up) allows safe passage over turbo pads in that area.

Hot Air Skyway [Trophy Race]

1. This race is available after earning fourteen (14) Trophies.
2. Race on the Hot Air Skyway track for 3 laps.
3. The track has long turns; use Power Sliding where possible.
4. A turbo ramp offers two routes: the right route requires a well-timed hop, while the left route is an alternative.
5. Watch for a sharp hairpin turn near the end.

Oxide Station [Trophy Race]

1. This race is available after completing the Hot Air Skyway Trophy Race or earning fifteen (15) Trophies.
2. Race on the Oxide Station track for 3 laps.
3. This is one of the longest and twistiest courses, featuring many turbo pads and turbo ramps.
4. Focus on boost-chaining between pads and anticipating upcoming turns.

Pinstripe's Challenge [Boss Race]

1. This Boss Race is available after completing the Oxide Station Trophy Race.
2. Race on the Hot Air Skyway track for 3 laps against Pinstripe.
3. Warning: Watch out for Bowling Bombs (projectiles) Pinstripe throws.
4. Stay in front of Pinstripe to win.
5. Plant power-ups like Beaker, TNT, or Nitro Crate in his path to slow him down.
6. Take the right path and hop at the jump near the end of the course.

Cortex Castle [CTR Challenge]

1. This CTR Challenge is available after defeating Pinstripe.
2. Race on the Cortex Castle track for 3 laps to collect the letters 'R', 'C', and 'T'.
3. The 'R' is located after the first turn.
4. The 'C' is in the wooden edge area and may require a hop.
5. The 'T' is the final letter to collect.

• N. Gin Labs Trophy Race: Neo Cortex Sticker (Cosmetic).
• Hot Air Skyway Trophy Race: Team Oxide Yellow Paint Job (Cosmetic) and unlocks Oxide Station (Trophy Race).
• Oxide Station Trophy Race: Team Oxide Body (Cosmetic) and unlocks Pinstripe's Challenge.
• Pinstripe's Challenge: Pinstripe, Charcoal Paint Job and Pinstripe Sticker (Cosmetic), and unlocks Nitros Oxide's Challenge and Citadel City Side Challenges.
• Cortex Castle CTR Challenge: Green CTR Token, and various cosmetic decals and skins depending on completion order (Straight Lines Decal if 16th CTR completed, Tricolor Decal if 17th, Geary Sticker if 18th, Blue Cortex Skin if 19th, Aviator Crash Skin if 20th). Also unlocks Gem Cups (Green, Blue, Yellow, Purple) if specific tokens have been claimed.
