You unlock the RESPEC ability, which lets you pay 5000 credits to remove all weapon nodes for reuse.

Save your game. The docking pod is unavailable, so head outside to fix it.

Grab the nearby box. You will be told that shooting red nozzles makes things thrust forward. Shoot the nearby nozzle to see this in action.

Locate a Power Node underneath the giant elevator and the Ripper Blades Schematic nearby.

Go underneath the elevator and shoot the thrusters to move it into place.

Return to the hallway and kill the crawler that attacks you.

Prepare for an elevator ride where you will be attacked by tripods. Consider saving your game if you are aiming for the "Elevator Action" trophy (kill all tripods during this sequence), as you may need to retry.

During the elevator ride, tripods will emerge from the windows. Aim for their weak arm segments to dismember them. Items will drop into the elevator upon their defeat. Using detonator shots can make these kills easier.

At the end of the elevator ride, exit to the left.

You will see pods that can be destroyed, but be sure to check the lockers for the Force Gun Schematic.

Collect items from the far lockers and continue onward.

You will enter the living quarters of Howard Phillips. The AI will greet you.

Continue further to find more items, a store, and a Power Node located near the store. A save station is also nearby.
