Learn how to conquer Star Challenges in DJ Hero! Discover the ins and outs of Power Challenges, Star Challenges, and Performance Stars to unlock new gear and content.

Hey there! So, you're diving into DJ Hero and want to know about Star Challenges? Think of these as special bonus objectives in Quickplay+ that'll help you rack up even more Stars. You can earn Stars in a few different ways for each song and instrument.

First up, there's the Power Challenge. This is where you get to experiment and use any two of the awesome Warrior Powers you've unlocked in the Quest mode. It's a great way to see how those powers can shake up your gameplay!

Next, we have the Star Challenges themselves. These are all about your performance during specific parts of the song. The guide will break down exactly what you need to do for each one. Each song actually has a whopping 36 Stars up for grabs through these challenges, spread across all the instruments and bands!

Finally, don't forget about Performance Stars. These are the classic Stars you earn just by hitting certain score milestones – usually 3, 4, 5, or 6 Stars based on how high you score. It's your standard score-attack system.

All the Stars you collect from these three areas are super important. They're used to unlock all sorts of cool stuff: new instruments, snazzy accessories and outfits, awesome venues, galleries to browse, and even some handy cheats. You can keep track of your progress towards these unlocks by heading to the 'Rewards Tracker' in the 'My Stuff' section. You'll see how the songs are grouped based on where they appear in the Quest mode. While most songs are available to play right away in Quickplay+, some of them will need to be unlocked by playing through the Quest first.
