Master Dragon Ball Legends Part 5! Learn advanced escape techniques, saving strategies, and explore the full character roster with their unique Meteor attacks.

This section covers advanced combat maneuvers, saving mechanics, and details the extensive character roster in Dragon Ball Legends.

Combat Escapes:

1. Knockback Attacks: Hold the Block button and press Up to escape attacks that send you airborne. Hold Block and press Down to escape attacks that send you downward.
2. Cross-Screen Attacks: Hold Block and press Forward to escape attacks that move you across the screen.
3. Combo Grab/Attack: To escape the grab and attack portion of a combo, double-tap any direction on the control pad (except straight up or down) while holding the Power Up button.

Saving Your Progress:

After battles in Z Campaign (Story) or SP Battle (ranking), you'll see a standings screen. In Z Campaign, a higher rank number is better; following the manga storyline exactly yields a perfect score of 100. SP Battle judges you on Time to complete the current battle, Total time in battle so far, Number of characters killed (current battle), and Total characters killed (so far).

From the standings screen, press any button to reach the Save screen. You can choose to 'Continue but do not save', or select one of three save files (File 1, File 2, File 3). Confirm your choice by pressing the accept button, then select 'Yes' to save.

Characters:

There are 35 characters available in versus mode. The order differs slightly between Saturn and Playstation:

• Saturn Order: Gokou, Super Saiyajin Gokou, Super Saiyajin 3rd Gokou, Gohan(young), Super Saiyajin Gohan(young), Super Saiyajin Gohan(teenage), Gohan(teenage), Goten, Piccolo, Kulilin, Young Trunks, Super Saiyajin Trunks, Gotenks, Vegeta, Super Saiyajin Vegeta, Majin Vegeta, Nappa, Ginew, Jiisu, Baata, Recoom, Gurudo, Freeza, Artificial Human #16, Artificial Human #17, Artificial Human #18, Artificial Human #19, Artificial Human #20 (Dr. Gero), Cell, Cell Jr, Dabura (Devil), Majin Buu, Super Buu, Kid Buu, Gogeta.
• Playstation Order: Gokou, Gohan(young), Piccolo, Kulilin, Vegeta, Nappa, Gurudo, Recoom, Jiisu, Baata, Ginew, Super Saiyajin Gokou, Freeza, Super Saiyajin Trunks, Super Saiyajin Vegeta, Artificial Human #19, Artificial Human #20 (DR. • No Character: Select the large X on Saturn or the X on Playstation for no character.

Characters' Meteor Attacks:

When the power meter is full, characters can unleash unique Meteor attacks:

• Gokou: (S)(P) Gathers Earth's Ki for a Genki Dama throw, or fires a large Kamehameha.
• Super Saiyajin Gokou: (S)(P) Fires a Kamehameha, warps behind the opponent, and fires another, or fires a large Kamehameha.
• Super Saiyajin 3rd Gokou: (S)(P) Flies at the opponent, grabs their legs, spins them, and throws them, or fires an immense Kamehameha.
• Gohan(young): (S)(P) Fires a Masenkou.
• Super Saiyajin Gohan(young): (P)(S) Fires a large Kamehameha.
• Super Saiyajin Gohan(teenage): (P)(S) Flares with energy, then fires a Kamehameha.
• Gohan(teenage): (S)(P) Performs a barrage of hard-hitting punches and kicks.
• Goten: (S)(P) Flares with energy in the sky, then dive bombs the opponent.
• Piccolo: (S)(P) Fires a Masenkousenpa. (S) Fills the sky with exploding fireballs. (P) Fires a huge fireball.
• Kulilin: (S) Creates and throws two energy blades. (P) Throws a large energy beam that curves upwards, breaking into a hailstorm of fireballs.
• Young Trunks: (P)(S) Shoots a large energy blast.
• Super Saiyajin Trunks: (S)(P) Gathers energy and shoots a giant blast at an airborne opponent. (P) Shoots an energy blast that envelopes and explodes on the opponent. (S) Runs at the opponent with sword drawn and slashes them.
• Gotenks: (S)(P) Performs the Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack. (S)(P) Captures the opponent in an energy donut, then explodes it.
• Vegeta: (S) Fires a large fireball upwards. (P) Performs the Big Bang Attack. (P) Performs the Final Flash.
