How to get the Beaver Stick

Learn how to obtain the legendary Beaver Stick in Dying Light: The Beast. Find all 6 Beaver Logs, build the dam, defeat the beaver boss, and claim your unique weapon.

The Beaver Stick is a unique, meme-inspired one-handed stick in Dying Light: The Beast. While it has no mod slots and is considered a bit of a novelty, it's a Legendary rank weapon with decent stats and a guaranteed knockdown effect. It's also required for the "Safe Zone" achievement.

Phases:

1. Collect Beaver Logs: Find all 6 Beaver Logs scattered around the river banks in the Industrial Zone and Old Town.
2. Build the Dam: Once all logs are collected, go to the west side of the river near the first Beaver Branch location. Place the logs to build a dam.
3. Underwater Puzzle: Swim towards the rocky walls and find a dark, hidden opening underwater. You cannot use your survivor senses to locate it.
4. Enter the Cave: Go through the opening to find a bedroom and a main area that automatically becomes a Safe Zone.
5. Rest and Wake Up: Sleep on the couch in the main room. You will wake up to find the Beaver boss.
6. Defeat the Beaver Boss: Engage and defeat the giant beaver in combat.
7. Claim the Weapon: After defeating the boss, pick up the Beaver Stick from the nearby Crafting Workstation.

Strategy:

• Location of Beaver Logs:
  • Beaver Branch 01: On rocks near the Beaver Dam in the Industrial Zone.
  • Beaver Branch 02: River bank on the Old Town side, under the bridge connecting Recreational to the Inn Safe Zone.
  • Beaver Branch 03: By Beaver Creek in Old Town, hidden in grass near the terrain edge, close to the Residential Relay power station.
  • Beaver Branch 04: Slightly west of the highway bridge in the Industrial Zone, at the terrain edge.
  • Beaver Branch 05: Near the rocky terrain of St. Valentine Asylum, at the terrain edge overlooking the safe house island.
  • Beaver Branch 06: Under the long highway bridge in National Park leading to Farmlands, near rocks at the river bank.
• Boss Fight: The Beaver boss is a unique encounter. Focus on dodging its attacks and finding openings to deal damage. The fight culminates in obtaining the Beaver Stick.
