Guide to Oros Valley in Far Cry Primal. Learn about the Wenja, Udam, and Izila tribes, and Takkar's quest to reclaim the land.

Welcome to Oros Valley, the setting for Far Cry Primal! It's a land brimming with primal tribes, basic weapons, and some seriously dangerous wildlife. You'll be playing as Takkar, a Wenja hunter who's desperately searching for his scattered people. The Wenja are hunter-gatherers, but their home has been invaded by two nasty tribes.

First up are the Udam, a brutal tribe of Neanderthals who've come down from the cold north. They're cannibals, and they see the Wenja as nothing more than food. Their invasion has thrown Oros into chaos, scattering your people all over the valley.

Then there are the Izila, a sun-worshipping cult who've invaded from the southern swamps. They've trapped the Wenja between the northern Udam and these southern 'Sun Walkers.' The Izila are all about sacrifice, and they've been enslaving the Wenja to build their standing stones and offer them up to their sun god, Suxli.

When Takkar finally finds the Valley of Oros, he's thrown right into the middle of this mess. Your main goal is to lead a campaign to push back the influence of both the Udam and the Izila. Eventually, you'll need to take the fight to their homelands to secure Oros for the Wenja.
