Main Objective: Open the door to the Engraving Shrine.

Grave Courtyard: Familiarize yourself with the Camera Obscura controls. Equip/unequip with Triangle. In finder mode (camera equipped), use the left analog to move the camera and the right analog to move your character. Press X or R1 to take snapshots. Walk straight ahead past the graves and through the door in the back.

Hall with Tatami: The door in the back is locked. Go left and snap a shot of THE TURNED BACK MAN while looking through the lattice. He will remain until you pass the lattice on the left. Go up the stairs on the left, move toward the back doorway, and quickly snap a shot of BECKONING YUU through the distant doorway. In the area where the ghost was, as you pass the wall separating the hall from the room on the left, WANDERING MOTHER and WANDERING DAUGHTER will appear on the other side. Go around the wall and snap a shot quickly. Go through any door to proceed. If you go upstairs, a Man in White will attack; go through any door to escape him. Dying in this or the next room will restart you in the Garden Corridor.

Barred Hallway: After passing the mirror, snap a quick shot of the LATTICE WOMAN when the camera angle shows her near the lattice. Do not run up to it first. As you reach the area with snow falling from a roof hole, a Hidden Face Man will attack. Run from him and go through any of the doors ahead to escape.

Garden Corridor: A GIRL IN HALLWAY will appear on the left and right sides. Photograph both, then go through the double doors in the middle.

Shrine Courtyard: Go down the stairs and a short distance ahead. You must be extremely fast to get a shot of DISAPPEARING YUU. Go through the door ahead.
