This guide covers its three variants: Type A (The Nesasio), Type B (DA-SR 12), and Type C (Simo-H), detailing their starting loadouts, strengths, weaknesses, and unlock conditions.

Type A (The Nesasio)

• Starting Features: Engines 4, Oxygen 1, Weapons 2, Medbay 1, Cloaking 1, Pilot 1, Sensors 2, Doors 1.
• Resources: 16 Fuel, 0 Missiles, 0 Drone Parts.
• Crew: 3 Humans.
• Armament: Dual Lasers, Mini Beam.
• Augment: Long-Range Scanners, Titanium Casing.
• Strategy: Relies on cloaking to dodge enemy fire, then uses Dual Lasers to disable shields and the Mini Beam to target enemy systems. Prioritize buying a Shields system (125 Scrap) early.
• Unlock: Engi Homeworld sector quest involving an Engi crewmember, visiting quest markers, demanding info from Rebels, and defeating Mantis at the final quest marker OR defeating The Rebel Flagship with the Rock Cruiser.

Type B (DA-SR 12)

• Starting Features: Engines 2, Oxygen 1, Weapons 4, Medbay 1, Cloaking 2, Pilot 1, Sensors 2, Doors 1.
• Resources: 16 Fuel, 0 Missiles, 0 Drone Parts.
• Crew: 2 Humans, 1 Zoltan.
• Armament: Glaive Beam.
• Augment: Long-Range Scanners.
• Strategy: Uses cloaking to protect while the slow-charging Glaive Beam fires, often bypassing shields. Aim to add shield-damaging weapons and acquire a Shields system early.
• Unlock: Obtain any 2 of the 3 Stealth Cruiser ship Achievements.

Type C (Simo-H)

• Starting Features: Engines 3, Oxygen 1, Weapons 2, Clonebay 1, Drone 2, Pilot 1, Doors 1.
• Resources: 16 Fuel, 0 Missiles, 16 Drone Parts.
• Crew: 1 Human, 1 Rockman, 1 Slug.
• Armament: Laser Charger (S), Mini Beam, Shield Overcharger Drone, Anti-Combat Drone.
• Augment: Long-Range Scanners.
• Strategy: Lacks shields and cloaking, relying on a drone for a temporary super shield. This ship is challenging and requires immediate purchase of a Shields system. Success is highly luck-dependent.
• Unlock: Reach Sector 8 with the Stealth Cruiser (Type B).

Achievements:

• Bird of Prey: Destroy a full health enemy ship during one cloak.
• Phase Shift: Evade 9 points of damage during one cloak.
• Tactical Approach: Reach sector 8 without visiting beacons with environmental dangers.
