Master God Eater 3's Rank 7 missions! Learn strategies for challenging optional missions, facing multiple Aragami, and preparing for the ultimate boss fights like Twilight of the Hounds.

Alright, so you've beaten the main story and seen the credits roll! First things first, head back to the lobby and have a chat with Hilda, then find Ein. Once you've done that, he'll join you on missions. This also unlocks the final Assault mission (for now) and, more importantly, Rank 7! Don't worry, all Rank 7 missions are optional side content until future updates, so you can tackle them at your own pace.

Most Rank 7 missions throw two Aragami at you simultaneously. Honestly, at this point, you should have the basics down, so I won't bore you with the usual song and dance. Instead, let's talk strategy and what to expect.

After you clear the first couple of missions, you'll unlock five new routes: North, East, West, South, and one leading to a Restricted Ash route. Each of these paths has about 5-6 missions. The final mission on each route is a doozy – either a two or three-part expedition. And after that expedition? You'll face an Ash Aragami alongside a mid-sized Aragami. By clearing all five routes, you'll eventually battle all five Ash Aragami.

Once you've conquered those routes, the true final mission unlocks: Twilight of the Hounds. This is a brutal two-part expedition where you'll fight ALL the Ash Aragami back-to-back. The first mission pits you against Ra and Nuadh, and the second has you facing the remaining three, one after another. It's a serious test of endurance!

Gear Up!

• Weapon Choice: With so many varying elemental weaknesses, I'd steer clear of Blaze, Freeze, or Spark. It's almost guaranteed one enemy will resist it. Stick to neutral or divine weaponry. This will make dealing with tough foes like Nuadh and Anubis (who are often the last enemies on a mission) much easier.
• Support Items: Stock up! Keep extensive supplies of healing gear. You'll need them to stay alive through these grueling fights.
• Skills: Equip skills that boost your maximum Endurance. You'll be relying on it heavily.

Combat Tips:

• Avoid Devours: Try your absolute best not to get devoured. Ashborn Aragami have a nasty habit of draining your Endurance, and you'll run out fast if you're not careful. Pay special attention to Dromi and Ra's devouring skills – they're incredibly hard to dodge if you're caught off guard.
• Ash Aragami Encounters: Be prepared for intense fights. These are the toughest challenges Rank 7 has to offer, so bring your best gear and honed skills.

After you finally beat Twilight of the Hounds, you'll snag the related trophy and officially be done with all Rank 7 missions (pre-update, at least!). You'll also unlock the final Assault mission available at this time, a tough fight against a Megido Odin.
