Complete your God Eater 3 trophy collection with our comprehensive guide. Learn how to easily earn all achievements by following our step-by-step walkthrough and grinding tips.

Unlike God Eater Resurrection, which has very grindy trophies, God Eater 3 trophies are by comparison very easy and do not take much longer. In fact, you will be able to get 70% of these while going through the story. Mind you, there are some that require a bit of grinding and work, but nothing on the same level as previous games.

Step 1: Complete the story mode and all missions optional and otherwise at least once including rank 7

As I said, 70% of the trophies will be acquired simply by doing this step. You can use the walkthrough section and other sections of this guide for this step. Some of these trophies are combat trophies which you will be likely to use as you play through the game.

In addition, you should also be careful to begin a few grinds for step 2, namely the following:

  1. For over 200 missions, bring either one singular type of melee or gun weapon (long blade, biting edge, assault gun, sniper, etc.). It doesn't matter which, but you must use them to complete 200 missions (expeditions count each part). You can check progress in your avatar card from the options menu. It's advised to select either a gun or melee weapon you will use for the entire game or at least until step 1 is complete, as there are over 200 missions.
  2. Continue to upgrade your gear throughout the game up until rank 7 and have at least one melee, gun, and shield fully upgraded. It's easiest to do this after completing step 1, but it's advised to reach rank 6 with all 3 by then. There are also gear that can be directly crafted at rank 7 as long as you have the materials.
  3. Bring at least one ally on EVERY mission. I don't mean bring only one, but regardless of your setup or team, have one NPC always present, be it Hugo, Zeke, Claire, whoever. But make sure to always bring them along. It's also advised to do this with Hugo or Zeke as you have them in your party pretty much the entire game. It's advised you make sure they gain as much AP as possible.

Be warned, reading the listed trophies will spoil you.

The below trophies will be completed in this step:

  • Adaptive God Eater — Survive both the AGE aptitude test and for several years after.
  • Turning point — Tear open a hole for the caravan and save your friends.
  • Humanity's hope — Work with your friends to face down the Ashborn.
  • Salty cake — If you're salty about the surprise party, it was the cake.
  • Path of the Hounds — Take on the hardest route in the Fenrir HQ Reclamation Initiative.
  • More than a dream — Claim the freedom to live as you will.
  • Welcome home — The bonds between you and your family have spread throughout the world.
  • False Sun — Defeat the Ash Aragami Ra.
  • Blasphemy Incarnate — Defeat the Ash Aragami Nuadha.
  • Lord of bones — Defeat the Ash Aragami Balmung.
  • King of the Underworld — Defeat the Ash Aragami Anubis.
  • The Insatiable — Defeat the Ash Aragami Dromi.
  • Divine fodder — Gain strength by devouring an Aragami.
  • Shared Power — Successfully use a link burst.
  • Togetherness — Engage with an ally.
  • Expedition leader — Clear an expedition for the first time.
  • Ultimate skill — Complete the mission "Twilight of the Hounds."
  • Technical expert — Activate your first acceleration trigger.
  • Power rising — Unleash your first Burst Art.
  • New gear — Craft equipment for the first time.
  • God arc Tuning — Upgrade equipment for the first time.
  • Jackpot — Discover a top-rank Abandoned God Arc.
  • Broken bond — Break your first enemy bond.
  • Breaker of bonds — Break 100 bonds.

Step 2: Long term grinds finish

The long-term grinds mentioned in step 1 must now be completed. If you have yet to beat 200 missions with the same melee or gun, the best way to quickly do this, although tedious, is to complete lower-ranked expedition missions quickly. Finish easy, low-rank missions.

The next grind regarding your rank 7 gear: there are 2 ways to quickly finish it. Completing rank 7 missions or using assault missions. Although unless you are playing online, this could take quite some time. You need to get rank 7 of each weapon type. Alongside the above methods, there are some quick ways to do this.

Firstly, have "Bottomless" on your main shield to ensure you can get drops from devour more easily. You can also use other drop-boosting skills if you want, but it will depend on your build. But hopefully, you will not need to grind too much.

Now, the main point here is to craft rank 5 or rank 6 gear and upgrade them. This will be much easier than grinding the low drop gear from rank 7 missions. Take stock and make use of the blueprint tree to see exactly what you already have in terms of materials and decide the quickest path.

Also, if you have good internet connection or have a solid team you can fight with consistently, I highly advise grinding on the assault missions to save overall time, assuming you can kill the target at least 80% of the time.

The last and most extensive grind, it is in fact the longest one in the game. For this, have either Hugo or Zeke along for every mission and during expeditions, have that person rest while everyone else stands guard. You will likely not have completed this by the time step 1 is finished. As such, you will need to keep on taking missions of high ranking to earn a ton of AP as quickly as possible. It is also advised to bring skills and such that boost AP gains.

In total, you will need between 50,000-60,000 AP and 100+ GAP to unlock all of a character's skills.

The below trophies are earned in this step:

  • A real treasure — Obtain your first piece of rank 7 equipment.
  • Unstoppable Armament — Obtain a rank 7 melee weapon, gun, and shield. WARNING: This description from PSN trophies is incorrect. The real requirement is getting 1 rank 7 of EVERY type of weapon, gun, and shield.
