Facing off against the formidable bosses of Graven can be a daunting task, but with the right preparation and strategy, victory is within reach. This section provides detailed breakdowns for each major boss encounter, outlining their attack patterns, weaknesses, and optimal tactics.

The Golem of the Foundry

The Golem is your first major roadblock, a hulking brute found deep within the Foundry. Its slow but devastating melee attacks can quickly overwhelm unprepared adventurers.

Key Information:

• Location: The Foundry, after navigating the lava-filled chambers.
• Weakness: The glowing runes on its back are its primary weak point.
• Recommended Items:
  • Sunderer (Shotgun): Excellent for close-range damage when you can flank it.
  • Frostbite (Ice Staff): Slows the Golem, giving you crucial breathing room.
  • Health Potions: Essential for surviving its heavy hits.

Strategy:

1. Phase 1: Approach and Dodge. As you enter the arena, the Golem will lumber towards you. Focus on dodging its wide, sweeping arm attacks and ground slams. Use the pillars in the arena for cover when necessary.

2. Flank and Strike. The Golem's turning speed is its Achilles' heel. When it attacks, try to strafe around it and get behind it. This is your prime opportunity to unload damage onto the glowing runes on its back using the Sunderer.

3. use Frostbite. If you're struggling to create openings or need to escape a dangerous situation, the Frostbite staff can be invaluable. A well-timed shot can freeze the Golem momentarily, allowing you to reposition or land critical hits.

4. Watch for the Charge. The Golem has a powerful charging attack. Listen for its roar and watch for the tell-tale wind-up. Sidestep this attack decisively.

5. Resource Management. Keep an eye on your ammo and health. Don't overcommit to attacks if it means taking unnecessary damage. Retreat to cover and heal if your health drops below 50%.

This spectral entity resides in the Sunken Cathedral, a master of illusion and ranged attacks. Its ability to summon spectral minions makes this fight a test of crowd control and target prioritization.

• Weakness: Its ethereal form is vulnerable to arcane damage.

  • Arcane Bolt (Starting Spell): Effective for consistent damage.
  • Whispering Death (Crossbow): Deals bonus damage to ethereal enemies.

Strategy:

1. Clear Minions First. The Weaver will periodically summon spectral apparitions. Prioritize eliminating these adds quickly, as they can quickly overwhelm you and distract from the main target.

2. Target the Weaver. Once the immediate threat of minions is dealt with, focus your fire on the Weaver. Its Arcane Bolt spell is its primary attack, so dodge the projectiles.

3. Exploit Arcane Weakness. Your Arcane Bolt spell is your bread and butter here. If you have the Whispering Death crossbow, switch to it when the Weaver is exposed for increased damage.

4. Use the Environment. The Sunken Cathedral has several raised platforms and alcoves. Use these to break line of sight from the Weaver and its minions, allowing you to heal or reload.

5. Watch for the "Pull" Attack. The Weaver can create a vortex that pulls you towards it. Sprint away from the center of the vortex to avoid being caught.
