Immediately after dropping in as Buck, you'll see a Phantom dropping off Grunts and a Brute. Move around sandbags to the right, eliminate the Grunts, then descend the ramp to deal with the Brute.

Continue down the street past the Covenant barricade. You'll encounter a small patrol of a Brute and more Grunts; eliminate them and follow the road left.

You'll meet UNSC Marines who suggest flanking the Covenant indoors. Find the nearby alley and enter the red door.

Proceed through the building, ascend stairs to a second-floor balcony. Assist the Marines below in eliminating 4-5 Brutes.

More Grunts will be alerted further up the road. Eliminate as many as possible before reaching a bend. Take cover at the bend due to a Covenant turret on a raised platform to the right. Destroy the gunner if possible, then mop up remaining Grunts and a final Brute.

Clear the area and proceed up the road, then turn right behind a set of stairs. Turn left to spot a patrol of Grunts and Jackals. Eliminate as many as possible before they take cover.

Around the next corner, you'll find a Covenant sniper tower and a large group of Jackals and Grunts. Stay in cover as you approach the hover platform, as Jackal snipers on the ground behind it can be dangerous.

Once the area is clear, go through the door at the back. In the open area, you'll join a skirmish between Marines and Covenant troops. There are Grunts, Brutes, and Jackals at street level, with more Brutes and Jackal snipers on a raised crosswalk.

Use the buildings for cover and to flank enemies. As most Covenant forces are defeated, some will retreat up a ramp. Doors will open, revealing a pair of Hunters. Use buildings to get behind them and exploit their weak spot, or avoid them by continuing up the ramp to the next area.

Enter the next area, a sunken plaza. A Phantom will drop off more enemies. The drop pod is at the back. Jump down, eliminate the Covenant forces, and interact with the pod to complete the objective and the mission.
