If you manage to get your hands on a VHF/GPS collar, you can get even more intel, like their name, sex, family history, where they've been, and even notes from past researchers. Pretty neat, huh?

Animal Mechanics

The game's animal mechanics are super in-depth. You'll find that each animal has its own unique AI and personality, making encounters feel really dynamic. There's a whole system for stats, attributes, leveling, and XP. You'll also see family groups and herds, and mechanics for nesting and territory. Plus, there's mating, pregnancies, and live births – it's a whole ecosystem simulation! Animals will migrate based on changing livability, and you'll even see things like tics, grooming, and illnesses, both short and long-term. The map is huge, with multiple regions, areas, and biomes. Keep an eye out, because natural disasters and climate change can dynamically alter the livability of areas, and entering new regions might even trigger some cinematic cutscenes.
