Alright, so you've made it to the 'Aerial Faithplates' section of the guide. This is where things get really interesting, as we'll be combining the laser mechanics you've mastered with some new traversal tools. It's all about using those faithplates to launch yourself across gaps and reach new areas. Let's break down how to use them effectively!

Test Chamber 13

You'll start this chamber by placing your portals just like the image shows. The goal here is to use a portal to redirect the laser sideways, and then use a time portal to send that laser into the future. Once that's set up, you'll want to run through the time portal yourself. Be prepared to take a little damage from the laser as you travel forward in time.

Now that you're in the future, you can adjust the portals without affecting the present setup. Your objective is to position the portals so the laser hits the target directly. Once that's done, you can head through the exit door for this chamber.

Test Chamber 14

First things first, you'll need to use a time portal to get back to the present. Once you're there, summon a reflector cube from the switch in the middle of the room. Place this cube in the area indicated in the image. Now, use a portal to guide the laser through the first node. You'll then use this laser to bounce off the cube and hit the next two nodes. After that, it's time to travel to the future.

In the future, use your portals as shown in the image to bring a laser back into the present, making sure it passes through the designated node. Grab the reflector cube from the future and bring it back to the present through the time portal. In the present, this cube should be positioned to hit all three nodes. If it's not quite right, make small adjustments. If you moved the future reflector cube, you'll need to go back to the future to retrieve it and bring it to the present again.

Finally, position the future reflector cube at the end of the nodes so it redirects the laser into the receiver, just like in the image. This will complete the test chamber.

Test Chamber 15

This chamber has quite a few steps and will require frequent use of time portals. Start by heading through the particle field on the left. Place a portal where the laser is hitting the wall, and then place a time portal on the opposite wall, as shown in the image. To get past the particle field without losing your portals, travel through the time portal to move into the future. The particle field won't be an issue anymore, so you can move freely. Head to the other side of the room and use another time portal to return to the present, placing you on the far side of the now-disabled particle field.

Now, place a new portal on the upper wall above the laser room so the laser hits the first receiver, as seen in the image. Travel back to the future and place a portal on the small wall within the laser room to aim at the receiver, as shown in the right image. Return to the present. The laser should still be hitting the first receiver above. You'll notice the receiver and node powering up an elevating platform near the switch. Stand on this platform and shoot a time portal behind the node, as shown in the next image.

This action will raise the platform you're on, allowing you to summon a reflector cube. Place this reflector cube on the small ledge above the second receiver. Now, travel to the future by placing your time portal wherever is convenient. Grab the future reflector cube and head into the laser room. You'll need to place another time portal in here to bring the future reflector cube back into the laser room in the present. Position it so it reflects the laser into the second receiver through the node, just like in the next image.

Next, you need to get to the other side of the particle field without going through it. If you already have a portal on the other side, just go through it with the laser, or use a time portal to bypass it. Make sure you're in the present on the far side of the particle field. Climb the stairs and use a portal on the upper wall to hit the third receiver. Finally, move the reflector cube onto the switch, as shown in the image below, to complete this test chamber.
