Begin your journey in Light No Fire! Learn how to navigate the initial dragon encounter, escape a burning building, and prepare for your first steps into the wider world.
Alright, so you've just booted up Light No Fire, and the very first thing you're gonna do is name your character. Most folks just call him Ryu, and honestly, that's a pretty solid choice. So, let's stick with that for now.
The game kicks off with a pretty intense scene: you're face-to-face with a dragon! Flames are everywhere, the screen fades, and someone's telling you to wake up. Yep, the building's on fire. Your first task is simple: get out of bed and follow the blue figure. Don't worry, she's not going anywhere fast and will wait for you. Flames will try to block your path, but she'll use her magic to clear them so you can keep moving. Head downstairs to meet the locals.
You'll find the other villagers surprisingly calm, considering the whole place is going up in smoke. Feel free to chat with them. Talk to the blue-haired girl on the left, then the other one. Soon, some folks will rush in, warning that the Dark Dragon Family is just outside town. And guess who their first target is? Yep, you, the Light Dragon.
They'll suggest fighting back, but Sara, who's been with you, discourages it. Instead, she uses her magic to turn everyone, including you, to stone. So, you're basically stuck watching for a bit. Before she leaves, Sara tells you to be strong. Outside, she's taken to Jade, and a big fight breaks out. Sadly, she can't stop them on her own.
Lore Break:
Back when the Dragon Family was at its strongest, a goddess of desire named Tyr showed up and started granting wishes. This led to the Dragons fighting each other for her power. Tyr egged them on until the world was nearly destroyed. That's when a warrior, with 7 companions, stepped up. They fought Tyr and managed to lock her away using 6 'goddess keys' that were scattered across the world. The Light Dragons then stepped in to balance the family's power, bringing peace.
Back in the burning building, everyone slowly turns back to normal, understandably confused. Now they're ready to fight for Sara. An old lady causes a small earthquake, and the villagers scatter. Since you're the only one left who can really make a difference, you're given 300G from a chest. It's time to leave this place.
You're now in Drogen. Much of the town is burnt down, but you can find an Item Shop and a Weapon & Armor Shop to the northwest. With your limited funds, it's probably best to hold off on big purchases. Grab a few Herbs and Antidotes, though.

The only other thing to check out is the building with the dragon head on it (southwest of where you came out). Inside, examine the dragon statue. It'll ask if you want to record your journey – go ahead and save your game. Once that's done, you can finally head out of town through the south exit.
Congrats, you've made it to the overworld without biting the dust! This is where things get a bit trickier. You'll start running into random monster encounters as you explore. Before you head north, it's a good idea to level Ryu up a bit by fighting these monsters. You'll also gain some extra Gold. If you need to heal up, the old woman in the big Drogen building will help you out.
Once Ryu hits around level 2-3, you can head north to Camlon. Just cross the stone bridge and follow the path north and east until you reach the castle-like structure. Welcome to Camlon!
