Follow this Little Witch in the Woods guide to learn how to register specimens like Blue Moon Butterflies and Maple Herbs, and how to chase the mysterious white cat.
Walkthrough
- 1After completing 'The Shining Tree' main quest, you'll be prompted to explore and fill your codex as you return down the mountain.
- 2Exit the Mountain Summit back onto Green Forest Plateau. Ellie and Virgil will discuss sketching specimens.
- 3Equip your quill. Approach a Blue Moon Butterfly, maintaining distance so as not to scare it.
- 4Draw the butterfly for a few seconds until the interact wheel is full to register it in your Witch's Encyclopedia. You cannot catch them yet.
- 5Before leaving Green Forest Plateau, register Maple Herbs (found hanging on vines) and Witchflowers (found near the broken bridge and east down a small ramp).
- 6Exit the area via the ramp you originally came from.
- 7Enter Green Forest Plains and a mysterious white cat will appear.
- 8Follow the white cat eastward. It will stop at a witch's pattern barrier.
- 9The cat will disappear through the barrier. Pick up the white witch chalk next to the sign.
- 10Use the chalk to complete the witch's pattern and remove the barrier.
- 11Before passing through, sketch the silver starbell flower to the right of the barrier.
- 12Pass through the barrier into the Witch's Garden. The cat will have disappeared.
- 13Knock on the house's door and go inside.
- 14Use the bed to sleep until morning.
- 15Upon waking, you will complete the 'In Search for a Curious Creature' quest and begin the 'To Places Anew' quest.
