Hey there! Ready to dive into Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon? This guide is gonna walk you through everything you need to know, starting with Part 1. Think of me as your trusty sidekick as we explore Evershade Valley together. We'll cover the missions, find hidden goodies, and make sure Luigi doesn't get too spooked!

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Gloomy Manor: This is where it all begins! You'll get a feel for the controls, learn how to use your Poltergust 5000, and start busting some ghosts. Don't worry if it seems a little tricky at first; we'll go through it step-by-step.
  2. 2
Haunted Towers: After Gloomy Manor, you'll venture into the Haunted Towers. Expect a different atmosphere and new challenges as you continue your ghost-hunting adventure.
  3. 3
Old Clockworks: Next up is the Old Clockworks, a place filled with ticking timepieces and, you guessed it, more ghosts! We'll help you navigate its unique puzzles.
  4. 4
Secret Mine: Prepare for a subterranean spooky experience in the Secret Mine. This area brings its own set of environmental hazards and spectral residents.
  5. 5
Treacherous Mansion: As the name suggests, this mansion is no walk in the park. We'll guide you through its treacherous halls and tricky ghost encounters.
  6. 6
King Boo's Illusion: The final part of this initial walkthrough involves a confrontation with King Boo himself. It's a boss fight you won't want to miss, and we'll give you the strategies to succeed.
Tips
  • Golden Bones: Keep an eye out for these! They randomly appear in missions and can revive Luigi if he runs out of health. They're usually found in areas you can investigate by pressing the [X] Button.
  • Navigation: As you get more familiar with the mansions, I'll skip some of the super-detailed directions. The Touch Screen map is your best friend, so don't hesitate to use it!
  • Formatting: Each section of the guide is clearly marked. Look for horizontal lines and headers to easily find the mission or area you're looking for.

Part 2

Learn about the introductory sequences in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, including Professor E. Gadd's plea and the shattering of the Dark Moon.

You can begin a new game by selecting a file from the main menu, then opting to start a new game. You can also delete an old file if you need to, or press A+B+X+Y as you start up the game anew. Once you do, you'll begin by watching some introductory movies.

It all begins with Professor E. Gadd in his lab. The green ghosts nearby are benign. Outside, though, trouble brews. A dark Boo rises up in the sky towards the Dark Moon and, with the power of the gem on his head, shatters it and scatters the fragments across the land. The green ghosts suddenly turn, losing their eyeballs and wrecking the lab.

In some house, Luigi has fallen asleep while watching the television. Soon, he is awakened by some creepy noise coming from the TV. E. Gadd's face appears on-screen, notifying Luigi of the ghosts' hostility and requesting his help, forcibly dragging him through the screen to his lab.

After some small chat on the other side, E. Gadd decides to fill in the details. He shows you a picture of the Dark Moon, an odd celestial object that turns ghosts in Evershade Valley into rather harmless creatures. E. Gadd studied these peaceful ghosts until the aforementioned events occurred. He quickly left the Gloomy Manor and found the Dark Moon vanished from the sky, and a dark, dense fog all around.

E. Gadd fears that the ghosts will soon terrorize other areas beside the Valley. He has found one fragment of the Dark Moon, though - but only a fragment. And, even then, it seems that something has corrupted it. With some strange device, he fixes the fragment, dispersing some of the fog near the Bunker. This end result shows that the Gloomy Manor is reachable, and fixing the Dark Moon in whole will fix their problems.

He then asks Luigi for his help, answering his own question before Luigi is given a real choice.

If you want to back out to select a game mode, you can press the B Button - you can do Scarescraper (a multiplayer mode) and enter E. Gadd's Vault, although those are not yet unlocked. You can back out further to the title screen. Otherwise, mash the A Button until you start Gloomy Manor: Mission A-1: Poltergust 5000.

Part 3

Follow the Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon Part 3 walkthrough to get the Poltergust 5000 and find treasure in Gloomy Manor.
