Interlude: Cleanup I (Fawtick Bayou, Dead Horse Lake) AKA Adulting

Complete the Fawtick Bayou and Dead Horse Lake cleanup missions in Maneater. This guide details how to collect all license plates and nutrient caches in these zones.

This guide covers the cleanup objectives in Fawtick Bayou and Dead Horse Lake, focusing on collecting license plates and nutrient caches.

Fawtick Bayou Cleanup:

1. Head to the grotto in Fawtick Bayou. Equip the Amphibious upgrade.
2. To get License Plate 7/10, head west towards the pier. Jump towards the plate with (X) and spam (R2) to lock on.
3. For License Plate 8/10, head northwest. Ensure the Amphibious upgrade is equipped and fully upgraded. Aim diagonally at a lower section of the walkway west of the plate and speed towards it, jumping with (X) before the walkway to gain air. Flop east on the walkway to reach the plate.
4. Northwest of the previous plate, find a grate. Jump on it and smash it to enter. Collect Nutrient Cache 15/17.
5. Continue north into a tube to find Nutrient Cache 16/17.
6. The ceiling has an exit to a new area. Head north for Nutrient Cache 17/17, completing the zone's caches.
7. East of the last cache, find a plate. To its southwest along the same pipe, another plate is accessible by swimming towards it and using a multijump while spamming (R2). This is License Plate 9/10.
8. For the last plate (License Plate 10/10), follow the pipe south. In the water below, use fast swimming starts and spam (X) and (L2) to jump onto the pipe. Jump along the pipe to reach the plate. This may require multiple attempts.

Dead Horse Lake Cleanup:

1. Fast travel to the grotto in Dead Horse Lake. Start on the east side.
2. In the Southeast, find an adult grate. Enter it and go down through a hole in the floor to find Nutrient Cache 11/14.
3. Continue through a tube to find License Plate 6/10.
4. Through the next tube, you'll find another room. Break out of a grate and head east to a floating plate. Use multi-jumping with (X) and (L2) to get close enough to bite with (R2). This is License Plate 7/10.
5. Head west past the grotto to find a grate in the middle of the open water. Go through the tube to a room, take the Northwest tunnel to another room with a hole in the floor. Go down and smash the grate to find Nutrient Cache 12/14.
6. Head back to the grotto in Golden Shores. Northeast of the grotto, you can now reach a plate over a pool by jumping the wall. This is License Plate 6/10. Note: Some plates in Dead Horse Lake are intentionally left for later due to difficulty or elder grates.
