EPISODE 13: ALTERED STATE {alter}

Start with an assault rifle and 30 bullets. Move up the path and use shadows on the left.

Locate a large spotlight assembly next to a hut on the right. Wait for the patrolling hunter to turn behind the hut, then sidle over and kill him. You can use the assault rifle or the garrote near the light for a quiet kill.

Quickly move into the shadows ahead, ignoring the body. Dispatch any hunters who spot it from cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects).

The remaining hunters carry crossbows, which are powerful and quiet weapons with scopes.

Get into the church across from the spotlight to find the crowbar needed for the next area.

Upon grabbing the crowbar, several hunters will enter and actively hunt you. Dash outside through a window and hide in shadows, such as the pocket near the spotlight.

From the shadows, move forward and right towards a large pipe. Snipe nearby hunters and proceed to the pipe.

Run onto the pipe, use the crowbar to open the grate, and enter the tunnel.

Make your way to the end of the tunnel, using shadows near the end. Snipe the patrolling hunter and observe the path he was on.

Several hunters are waiting at the far end of the path. You can kill them with your crossbow or dash up the path into shadows near the barn for close-quarters combat.

Use the scattered hay bales for cover and darkness. Pick off opponents one by one.

An environmental kill is available on the right wall, though luring enemies to it may be difficult.

Once all enemies in the area are dealt with, use your crossbow to shoot the rope of a large crate on the left wall of the barn to climb up.

Inside the barn, climb into the culvert and wait for a hunter to patrol nearby for a jump-kill.

Tap on the wall to lure more hunters. Jump down and head left around the corner to find shadows near a fence.

Stalk the remaining four hunters in this room. An environmental kill using a nearby barrel is also an option.

Proceed up the steps in the back of the barn.

Execute the first of three hunters quickly if you are fast, but be aware his companion might see you. Luring him back towards the steps is an alternative.

Climb over the crates to the left to gain an advantage on the remaining hunters. Throw an object to lure the hunter walking left from the top of the crates.

After dealing with these hunters, jump down from the crates and go through the door to your left.

Descend the steps and enter the next area. Run up the path and duck behind the low wall around the corner to the right.

Snipe the hunters at the top of the incline before they can shoot you.

Run to the top of the hill and use the hut on your right for cover.

Engage the hunters on patrol, including those inside the house (one on each floor).

Enter the house and proceed to the back, through the room to the right, watching for any remaining hunters.

In the back room of the house, jump out the window and enter the shack ahead.

Jump through the shack's window and quickly move into the shadows within.

Execute the hunter who enters the shack when he turns his back.

Exit the shack through the door he used and turn right.

Locate another shack with a hunter inside. Wait for him to move further in before engaging.

Proceed into the next area, a large outdoor space with small buildings and hay bales.

Go around the left side of the house in front of you and kill the guard at the back.

Use your crossbow to snipe the hunter on the second floor of the large, open-air building at the far end.

A scripted invasion will occur: six hunters will enter, and the gate will shut. Retreat to the small house and use its shadows for cover.

Use the house to snipe enemies, or exit the shadows to execute them when they get close.

Alternatively, run to the big building and snipe from the top, accessible by climbing hay bales or a covered ramp to the right.

After defeating the first group of six hunters, another four will enter. Use your crossbow to eliminate them quickly, maintaining distance.

Once all hunters are defeated, go to the top of the big building and turn the crank on the wall near the large window.

This will open the door to the right. Go through it to complete the episode.
