Learn how to defeat various common thugs in Marvel Snap, including Thugs in Trenchcoats, Young Punks, Babes with Hair, Fat Guys, Jerks with Umbrellas, and Guys with Guns. Get tips for each enemy type.
These are the guys (and girls) you meet on the street. They're not exactly expert hit-men, but they're out to get you.
- Thugs in Trenchcoats — Generic cannon fodder. Later in the game, they gain rifles and act like slower Guys with Guns. They can be picked up and thrown. Use your web grab to save time as they are slow.
- Young Punks — Not too hard initially, but tend to hit you in the back and crowd you. Later, they gain a hopping side kick allowing them to hit from farther away and quicker. Use rushing attacks or objects to knock them down, or get closer to pound them.
- Babes with Hair — These girls often block your hits. If you think you're out of reach, they'll whip you with their hair. Try to eliminate other thugs first, then concentrate on them by grab comboing them, followed by a web-grab.
- Fat Guys — Powerful but slow. Their dive bombs are usually telegraphed, allowing you to dodge and retaliate. Running attacks often won't knock them down, so start with a regular combo or grab them and use them to knock other enemies down. Be wary of their blackjacks when fighting multiple Fat Guys; give them space until you can isolate one.
- Jerks with Umbrellas — They can block your attacks. In close combat, they may poke you with their umbrella. Try to web-grab them to pound them. Avoid them until other enemies are dealt with, or knock them off first, unless you are pounding a group.
- Guys with Guns — Slow on the draw, so their shots are usually visible. They often appear in large groups, making it hard to avoid their fire. They are quick movers and will use their pistol handles as blunt weapons up close. You can use them to hurt other enemies by luring them to shoot at allies behind you, or grab a thug before they shoot and use them as a human shield. Stay away from them, avoid their fire, throw other enemies into them, or move in for the kill.
