Learn essential Marvel Snap combat strategies to defeat thugs, powerful foes, and bosses. Master crowd control, enemy manipulation, and boss patterns for victory.

When fighting multiple enemies, they often surround you and drain your life. If an enemy approaches from behind, try alternating left and right punches while continuously attacking to keep them at bay. Your special attack is effective for crowd control, and running away is also a viable tactic. Use enemies against each other: if one is close and a mob is approaching, pick up the close enemy and throw them into the mob to create an opening. Proceed with caution, as rushing into certain areas can increase enemy numbers. It's better to let enemies come to you. If two enemies approach from opposite sides, knock down the closer one with a combo, then quickly web-grab the other and attack them before the first one recovers. This strategy is effective in side-scrolling combat to avoid wasting time or letting enemies recover. When facing a large group, avoid picking up enemies unless you intend to throw them, as you'll be vulnerable to attacks from others. Utilize web moves to temporarily incapacitate enemies, preventing crowds and blocking attacks.

When facing two powerful thugs at the end of a level, you can sometimes instantly defeat them with a double smash (without prior hits) to gain an extra life. If this isn't possible, knock both down, web-grab one, pick them up, and throw them into the other who has since gotten up. Repeat this pattern by web-grabbing and throwing the second enemy as soon as they rise.

Bosses often attack in tandem, so manage your attacks carefully. Knock one down to focus on the other. Some bosses, like Carnage, can be fought with a semi-pattern: rush in with a jump kick, perform a regular combo, then use a special attack. Retreat and repeat. Be aware that bosses like Carnage can break this pattern by escaping or using different attacks, requiring you to adapt. Avoid prolonged, aggressive attacks. Instead, move in for a combination or a few hits, then retreat when they attempt to retaliate.
