Mass Effect 3 Part 9 walkthrough: Find the M-451 Firestorm, Shotgun Shredder mod, and more as you navigate tunnels and fight Ravagers.
Walkthrough
- 1After regaining control of Shepherd, move down the tunnels and find the M-451 Firestorm heavy weapon next to a dead Krogan on the right.
- 2Use the M-451 Firestorm to destroy webs blocking your path and spore pods. Be aware that spore pods explode if you get too close.
- 3Proceed through the linear corridors until you reach a large open room and encounter your first Ravagers.
- 4Prioritize destroying the Barrier Engine quickly, using abilities like Overload.
- 5Set your squad to attack the Ravager while you deal with the swarming Husks and Cannibals.
- 6After defeating a Ravager, be mindful of the Swarmers it releases, as they inflict damage over time and prevent shield recharge.
- 7From where you dropped into the room, turn left to find the Shotgun Shredder mod (a community-made modification that changes the game).
- 8Move up the hill in the distance.
- 9At the base of this hill, find another Firestorm. Grab it and proceed to the top.
- 10Destroy the spore pods at the top of the hill with the Firestorm.
- 11Shortly after the pods, you will find a web with a barrier. To the right, locate a Reaper Node.
- 12Destroy the Reaper Node to remove the barrier, then burn the web.
- 13Continue onward, find another Firestorm, and proceed after a crash.
- 14Navigate the tunnels and look for Reaper Tech behind a side web.
- 15Before reaching another large room, check the body of a dead Krogan behind a web to find a message that starts Citadel: Krogan Dying Message.
- 16Enter the next large room and employ the same strategy as before, being aware of your height disadvantage.
- 17Destroy the Barrier Engine, stop the Husks, defeat the Ravager, and eliminate the Cannibals.
- 18Proceed further and be ambushed by a smaller, closer group; back up for better cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) if needed.
- 19After defeating this group, find a small slope to the right where a dead Krogan and the Spare Shotgun Ammo mod are located.
- 20Jump off and move forward, destroying Spore Pods to the left to find Reaper Tech.
- 21Find another Firestorm on the left, cross a bridge, and jump over a gap.
- 22In the new room, destroy more pods and find the ramp at the back right.
- 23At the point where you need to climb upward, find the Ariake Technologies Shoulder Guard.
- 24Destroy more pods and jump across another gap.
- 25Go down a ramp and locate the Aralakh squad in the distance to the right.
- 26Burn through some webs to find a dead Krogan with a med kit, a new Firestorm, and the Pistol Piercing mod.
- 27Destroy the nearby Reaper Node to regroup with the Aralakh Company.
- 28After regrouping, go through the door near the dead Krogan, destroy pods to the right to find more Reaper Tech, and enter a crawl space.
- 29On the other side, run to the dead end and look up to find a Reaper Node above you. Destroy it.
- 30This will trigger an attack from your left flank with two Ravagers, Husks, and Cannibals. Use cover on the left, but be cautious of grenades.
- 31Have your squad focus on one Ravager while you slow advancing Husks with biotics like singularities. Use Medi-gel if necessary.
- 32After dealing with most Husks, use biotics to hinder Cannibals.
- 33Once the Ravagers are dealt with, clean up remaining enemies.
- 34Move past the dead enemies and destroy another Reaper Node to start another wave.
- 35In the next fight, use similar tactics, but be aware of Swarmers. Find cover behind a large section of rock.
- 36After clearing this group, move to the central bridge for another similar fight, moving backward to control the pace.
- 37After defeating this group, go past them, destroy another Node, and fight one more group with less cover.
