Walkthrough
  1. 1
From the start, go right through the door. Use the Aeion Energy Orb (a resource that replenishes Samus's abilities) if needed. Jump to the platform, then Space Jump (a jump that allows Samus to repeatedly jump in mid-air) and climb up the shaft.
  2. 2
Screw Attack (a spinning attack that destroys certain blocks) through the blocks at the top and keep Space Jumping until they return. Come out of Screw Attack and drop to blocks.
  3. 3
Fire a missile up to the block on the right wall and jump up to grab missile expansion (ME53).
  4. 4
Screw Attack through the blocks on the floor. Drop down to the bottom, jump left, use the Aeion Energy Orb if you need to, and go through the door.
  5. 5
Run left and drop to the Teleport Station (a device that allows fast travel between stations). Warp to the fifth Teleport Station in the area.
  6. 6
Roll (transform into a ball form) through the gap and drop down to the Save Station (a point where Samus's progress is saved). Save and jump and climb back up the shaft to the left door. Go through.
  7. 7
Drop down to the bottom and roll right through the narrow passageway. Drop down and jump up the left shaft. Roll through the narrow passageway, drop down, and roll right. Fire missiles straight up to remove the blocks, jump up, and roll right to missile expansion (ME54).
  8. 8
Bomb the right block, use the Spider Ball (allows Samus to cling to walls and ceilings in ball form) to reach the narrow passageway above and roll left. Jump and climb up the shaft and go through the left door.
  9. 9
Run left, drop down, and run left again. Roll and jump through the narrow passageways and run left to the door.
  10. 10
Jump to the Save Station. Save, and roll through the narrow passageway under the platform. Drop down, use the Aeion Energy Orb if needed, and jump to the right ledge. Roll through the gap, drop down, and use a Super Missile (a powerful missile type) on the right wall. Roll through.
  11. 11
Drop down and jump to the right ledge. Roll through the gap and fire a missile through the right gap to remove the block, and use the Phase Drift (a temporary ability that allows Samus to pass through certain obstacles) to roll through the upper narrow passageway. Drop down, roll left, drop down again, and roll right to Super Missile Expansion (SM13).
  12. 12
Run right, drop down, and run left. Jump up, roll left through the narrow passageway, jump up, roll through the gap, and drop down. Use the Aeion Energy Orb if you need to, and jump up. Roll through the gap, jump up, and roll through the narrow passageway. Jump up to the Save Station. Save, and go through the door.
  13. 13
Run right and roll through the narrow passageway. Run right, jump up, and head right to the door.
  14. 14
Drop down the shaft to the right door and go through. Drop down the second shaft, and once again go through the right door. Drop down, run right, and jump up on the right-hand side. Jump and climb up the shaft, using the Aeion Energy Orb if you need to, and go through the door at the top.
  15. 15
Use the Phase Drift to run right across the collapsing platform (a platform that disappears after being stepped on) above. Drop down and shoot the left wall with a missile to uncover Super Missile Expansion (SM14).
  16. 16
Use the Grapple Beam (a beam that can latch onto specific blocks and pull them or swing from them) to remove the left block, jump up to the elevator (a platform that moves vertically), and go up.
  17. 17
Use the Grapple Beam to remove the right block. Roll through the gap and jump up the shaft. Roll through the gap and jump right across the water. Use the Ammo Recharge Station (a device that replenishes missile ammo) if you need to, drop into the water, and go through the door.
  18. 18
Jump out of the water, jump up, and run right. Fall down the right shaft and run right to the door.
  19. 19
Jump right across the lava (a hazardous liquid that damages Samus on contact), and use the Spider Ball to cross to the other side of the wall, or drop into the lava – the Gravity Suit (an upgrade that protects Samus from environmental hazards like lava and water) protects you – and run right to the end. Jump up the shaft to the narrow passageway at the top, roll through, drop down, and go through the door.
  20. 20
Run left, drop into the lava, and head left. Use the Grapple Beam to move the left block right, and jump out of the lava. Run left, drop down, and run left again. Jump out of the lava to the platform, and use Super Missiles on the wall to uncover Super Missile Expansion (SM15).
  21. 21
Drop down, run right, and jump out of the lava. Run right, drop down, and head right. Jump out of the lava and head right to the door.
  22. 22
Jump up the shaft, roll through the narrow passageway, and drop down to the bottom. Head left, jump out of the lava, jump left to the door, and go through.
  23. 23
Head left, jump up the shaft, and run left. Drop down, drop into the water, and go through the door.
  24. 24
Jump out of the water, jump left, and roll through the narrow passageway. Drop down, roll through the gap, and go down on the elevator.
  25. 25
Drop down to the ground and roll through the gap. Run left and go through the door.
  26. 26
Run left, roll through the gap, and drop down the shaft to the bottom. Run to the left side of the wall, jump up, and go through the door.
  27. 27
Run left, jump up, and roll through the gap to the Teleport Station. Warp to the first Teleport Station in Area 4.
Tips
  • Conserve Aeion Energy if you are not immediately in need of its abilities.
  • The Gravity Suit is highly recommended for navigating areas with lava.
  • Utilize the Teleport Stations to quickly move between different sections of the map.
