Hey there! So, you're diving into Mortal Shell 2 and want to get a handle on the nitty-gritty of combat? Let's break down the bars, ammo, weapons, and enemies you'll be dealing with. It's not too complicated once you know what to look for!

Bars Explained:

Right when you start, look at the top left of your screen. You'll see two bars. The white one is your health – pretty standard stuff, keeps you alive. The blue one is your special move meter. Every time you pull off one of Jax's cool special moves, this blue bar drains a bit. If it empties completely, you're out of special moves until it refills. The good news? You can top it up by chaining together combos. Keep an eye on the top right too; that's where you'll see the health bars of any enemies you're facing.

Ammo & Weapons: Stocking Up!

You'll find ammo scattered around for your various firearms. Your standard issue is the 9mm for your machine gun. Then there are sniper cartridges for the sniper rifle – these are fantastic for picking off enemies from a distance before they even know you're there. Don't forget the shotgun shells; it's a powerhouse but has a slow reload, so use it wisely. For the really tough situations, you've got the grenade launcher and rocket launcher. They're incredibly effective for clearing out groups of enemies, but their ammo (grenades and rockets) is pretty scarce. Your best bet is to save these heavy hitters for bosses.

Pro-Tip: You can even use the detonator as a weapon in a pinch!

Enemies: Not the Brightest Bunch

Honestly, the regular enemies in this game aren't exactly geniuses. Their AI is pretty basic, and for the most part, they're easy to take down. You might find yourself outnumbered in certain spots, though. In those cases, your best bet is often to just avoid them if you can.
