Sometimes, a quick delivery mission for someone like Mayor Bob can earn you some quick cash and goodwill, freeing up your afternoon for more involved tasks. Plan your days. Before you even log in, or at the start of your in-game day, take a moment to think about what you want to accomplish. Maybe Monday is for clearing out your crop fields and replanting, Tuesday is for mining runs to gather ore for crafting, and Wednesday is for focusing on story missions. Having a loose plan helps you stay focused and avoid just wandering around. Upgrade your tools and skills. This might seem counterintuitive when you're trying to save time, but trust me, it pays off.
