Where to get Thick Hide

Thick Hide is a Tier IV resource used in the Layered Leather recipe, which requires 6 Thick Hide, 2 Rugged Leather, and 1 Any Tannin.

To obtain Thick Hide, you must skin animals that are Level 40+.

These animals can be found in higher-level zones such as Reekwater, Ebonscale Reach, Weaver’s Fen, Restless Shore, Great Cleave, Edengrove, Mourning Dale, and Shattered Mountain.

Specific animals that drop Thick Hide include Timber Wolf, Damned Hound, Mountain Lion, Primal Lion, Bobcat, Lynx, Alligator, Strange Alligator, Boar, Strange Boar, Grizzly Bear, Black Bear, Elk Bull, Elk Cow, Strange Elk, Bison, and Strange Bison.

While Ebonscale Reach has fewer animals, Restless Shore has an abundance. Edengrove is considered the prime target due to the highest density of Level 42+ animals.
