Alright, let's get started with Valkyrie: Prelude! This is basically your first taste of combat and mechanics in Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, so pay attention. You'll start off controlling Gwendolyn, and the game will walk you through the absolute basics. Just follow whatever prompts pop up on your screen – things like jumping and attacking. When you nail an action, you'll see a little Success message. Easy peasy!

Once you've got the hang of the basic moves, you'll move into the next area. Get ready, because a bunch of soldiers are going to charge at you. Take 'em all down! After you defeat them, you'll see some orbs appear on the screen. These are called Phozons, and you'll want to hold down the R1 button to soak them all up. Phozons are super important – you'll use them for special abilities and even to grow plants. After you've cleared out all the enemies in this little arena, a ranking screen will pop up. Your performance here will determine your reward. You should find a Mulberry seed in the treasure chest that appears. Grab it, and then you'll need to plant it. To make it grow, you'll use Phozons again: hold down both R1 and the [ ] Square button at the same time. Once the Mulberry is grown, eat it to get back some HP and a bit of experience.
