At night, max Shu's Social Link (Rank 7.5) for +3 Expression and 10,000 yen. Note: Shu Rank 7 requires dialogue options 0, 3 (which gives +3 Courage).
- 18November 4: Choose "A cuckoo" for +3 Yosuke and +3 Expression. Save your game. Go to the Beach and fish for 2 Hachiro Octopus, 1 Meguro Tuna, and 3 Sea Guardians. .
- 19November 5: Progress the storyline.
- 20November 6: Go to Okina and use the Crane for the King Frost doll. In the Shopping District, South, talk to Daidara Metalworks about "Husband's Letters." In the Shopping District, North, buy a Grilled Steak Croquette from Souzai Daigaku. Try talking to the dog in the Shopping District, North and give it a Steak Skewer. Accept Ema's request for Quest 15.
Fishing for Joke Weapons:
- Fishing at sea always yields a joke weapon on the first bite. This can only be done once per sea fishing session. You must spend at least one bait before exiting. The weapons appear in a fixed order:
- 1. Bus Stop Sign (MC) - 179 Atk, 84 Hit; Rage (high odds)
- 2. Pinwheel (Yosuke) - 158 Atk, 90 Hit; Poison (high odds)
- 3. Bat Saucer (Yukiko) - 153 Atk, 91 Hit; Auto-Sukukaja
- 4. Hyper Drill (Teddie) - 225 Atk; 89 Hit; Auto-Tarukaja
- 5. Flintlock (Naoto) - 254 Atk, 90 Hit; +30 SP
- 6. Colored Bench (Kanji) - 305 Atk; 99 Hit; All ailments (low odds)
- 7. Metal Geta (Chie) - 335 Atk; 90 Hit; Reduce Physical damage by 10%
- These items do not consume fishing tries. If you are not interested, you can throw bait and immediately pull it back to keep your bait.
- Warning: Always watch for single ripples, as these are useless debris and consume a fishing try.
Sea Fish Identification:
- Two ripples: Hachiro Octopus
- Four ripples: Meguro Tuna
- Four ripples with splashing water: Sea Guardian
Alternative for Sea Guardian (if Genji Beetles were missed on 8/22):
- On 11/6, ask the fisherman about bait and catch bugs until you have 3 Genji Beetles.
- On 11/18, fish for the requested items.
- Use two free days in January to finish The Fox Social Link after showing the Sea Guardian to the old fisherman for Quest 15.

- Make sure to max out Knowledge by October 16.
- Accepting Naoto's lunchtime invitation on November 2 allows you to proceed directly to Rank 7 of her Social Link.
