Location: Mementos (Path of Da'at - Depths)
Recommended Level: 90+
Jose is a secret boss in Persona 5 Royal, found in the deepest reaches of Mementos after collecting all stamps and flowers. He is an extremely challenging optional encounter.
Party Setup:
- Joker: Maxed out Personas like Satanael, Yoshitsune, Maria. Focus on Almighty, physical, and healing.
- Ryuji: Physical attacks, Charge, Tarukaja.
- Ann: Agi skills, Concentrate, Tarunda.
- Makoto: Frei skills, Mediarahan, Marakukaja.
Bring your absolute best gear, Personas, and plenty of healing/SP items.
Strategy:
- Elemental Attacks: Jose will cycle through elemental attacks. He has no weaknesses, but also no resistances.
- Buffs/Debuffs: Maintain full party buffs (Heat Riser, Charge/Concentrate) and Jose debuffs (Debilitate).
- Almighty Damage: Jose is susceptible to Almighty damage, making Joker's Almighty Personas very effective.
- High Damage Output: Jose hits extremely hard. Focus on maximizing your damage output while keeping your party alive.
- Endurance: This is a long, drawn-out battle. Be prepared for a war of attrition.
