Episode 1: Medals

Complete guide to all medals in Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Episode 1, covering both Claire/Moira and Barry/Natalia campaigns. Find all collectibles and defeat enemies efficiently.

Claire / Moira Campaign Medals:

1. Knocked down an enemy 5 times by blinding them with the light, then hitting them with a physical attack: Use Moira's flashlight (L2) to blind an enemy, then quickly switch to Claire and perform a follow-up attack (R2). This must be done to 5 different enemies. A good spot is the end segment of the Colony where Afflicted enemies appear frequently.
2. Defeated 8 enemies with the rotating blades: In the end segment of the Colony, instead of activating the fire trap, crouch under the rotating blades in the corner and lure enemies into them.
3. Stunned 10 enemies with Moira’s light: Use Moira's flashlight to stun 10 different enemies. This can be combined with the first medal.
4. Defeated 8 enemies with sub-weapons: The dumpster area with the bugs is ideal. Use a Bottle to defeat them. Alternatively, use Bottles on enemies at the end of the Colony.
5. Defeated 3 enemies using the stealth attack: In the first area with spinning blades, before the dumpster, go around the upper floor to get behind enemies and perform stealth attacks. This includes an Ironhead.
6. Defeated 8 enemies with a headshot: Aim for headshots whenever possible. This can be farmed at the end of the Colony.
7. Found 3 treasures: Gems are found in crates, barrels, sparkle items, and walls. Two can be found in desks in the infirmary before obtaining the Handgun.
8. Killed 10 Giant Whip Spiders: The bug-infested dumpster area is a good place to farm this, as they respawn.
9. Opened 3 military boxes: Locate and open all 3 military boxes available in the episode.
10. Found 6 hidden items with Moira: Find 6 of the Sparkle Items scattered throughout the episode. There are 3 in the room where the Crowbar is found, and 2 more in the next room.

Barry / Natalia Campaign Medals:

1. Defeated 5 Revenant by only hitting their weak spots: Natalia highlights Revenant weak spots. Aim precisely and defeat 5 Revenants by only hitting these spots. This can be farmed at the end of the episode where Revenants respawn.
2. Don’t fire a gun in the detention center control area: Avoid using guns in this area. Use stealth attacks and Natalia's bricks. You can often run past enemies. If you have the Unholstered Skill, ensure Barry is not the one shooting if you are using Natalia.
3. Hit enemies with Natalia’s brick 15 times: Use Natalia's bricks with R2 (like a knife) to hit enemies 15 times. Each brick can be used 3 times, so you'll need 5 bricks.
4. Defeated 2 enemies with a follow-up attack: Ensure you have the follow-up attack skill. Have Natalia stun an enemy with a brick, then switch to Barry and perform a follow-up attack.
5. Defeated 8 enemies with sub-weapons: Use Firebombs or Exploding Bottles. Target the first 4 Rotten, the 3 enemies Natalia points out, and then group enemies on the upper floor.
6. Defeated 5 enemies using the stealth attack: Stealth kill Rotten enemies in the Map room (Penal Colony) and upper floor (showers), or Revenants in the forest.
7. Defeated 6 enemies with the knife: Stealth attacks do not count. Upgrade your knife skills and target lone Rotten enemies.
8. Opened 2 gimmick boxes: Find and open 2 gimmick boxes within the episode.
9. Found 6 hidden items with Natalia: Locate 6 Sparkle Items with Natalia throughout the episode.
10. Escaped the darkness of the forest starting from the detour hut, within 40 seconds: Starting from the cabin after the first Revenant encounter, run along the right wall to the clearing and then to the door, avoiding logs and Revenants.

Achievement:

• Only Good Guys Win Medals: Earn all medals in Episode One.
