The most formidable of all the Iga Ninja warriors, Hattori is both admired and feared for the cool and ruthless way in which he fights. He has gone forth into the world to free the soul of his son, captured by the evil Shiro Tokisada Amakusa.

Hanzo and Galford are more or less a clone of each other gameplay wise. Therefore, they share similar normal attacks, throws, and even a few special moves.

Throws

• Sky Whiling Throw (← / → + MS / HS): Slams the opponent to the ground.
• Head Throw (Slash) (← / → + MK / HK): Stabs the opponent on the ground.
• Head Throw (unarmed) (← / → + MK / HK): Flips the opponent forward.
• Rolling Aerial Attack (↓ + MS / HS / MK / HK) (Midair Only): Catches the opponent and slams them on the ground.

All of Hanzo's grabs will deal more damage when performed with HS / HK compared to MS / MK. Rolling Drop will toss the opponent in the opposite direction you held.

Special Moves

• Ninja Windsplitter (↓ ↘ → + S): Throws a shuriken forward.
• Ninja Shrike Dash (→ ↓ ↘ + K): Grabs the opponent and jumps with a spinning fall (like an Izuna Drop).
• Ninja Exploding Dragon Blast (Hold ←, then → + S): Shoots a blast that bounces forward.
• Ninja Shadow Replicates (→ ← ↙ ↓ ↘ → + Any Button): Splits into 4 shadows before reappearing. Where he goes depends on the button pressed.
• Ninja Teleportation Jig (→ ↘ ↓ ↙ ← + LK): Teleports and then appears above the opponent with a downward thrust.
• Ninpo Ussemi Chizan (Hold LK) (When hit): When hit, he'll disappear into a puff of smoke before teleporting above with a downward thrust.

Hanzo can Triangle Jump by pressing the opposite direction when jumping towards the wall. Hanzo can perform all special moves even while unarmed.
