Character Profile:

Kyoshiro Senryo is a 30-year-old fighter from Edo (Old Tokyo) who wields the Kabuki Slasher. His martial arts school is Kabuki-Style Swordsmanship. He is on a mission to surpass his father, a former Kabuki actor, and gain international recognition for Kabuki.

Throws

• Lance Throw Fandango (← / → + MS / HS): Throws the opponent with his weapon. This becomes Whiling Throw while unarmed.
• Whiling Throw (← / → + MK / HK): Tosses the opponent with his hair.

Throw Specifics:

• Lance Throw Fandango will always throw the opponent backwards.
• Whiling Throw (HK / HS) will always throw the opponent forward, even if you held back to perform it.
• Kyoshiro cannot perform throws in a mirror match (when fighting against another Kyoshiro).

Special Moves

• Jumping Lion (↓ ↙ ← + K): Uses his weapon to perform a big fire kick forward.
• Kabuki Crunch Dance (→ ↙ ↓ ↘ + S): Jumps and spins forward. Best used as an anti-air (an attack aimed at an opponent in the air).
• Twirling Fan (↙ ↓ ↘ → + S): Breathes fire from his mouth.
• Air Kabuki Crunch Dance (Midair Only: ↓ + HS / ↓ ↙ ← + HS): Spins rapidly midair until he lands.
• Whirlwind Fan (↓ ↙ ← + S): Throws a fan forward.

Special Move Specifics:

• Kyoshiro cannot perform Jumping Lion, Kabuki Crunch Dance, or Air Kabuki Crunch Dance while he is unarmed.
• Twirling Fan (LS / MS) will not push the opponent back on block (when the opponent blocks the attack).
• Performing Air Kabuki Crunch Dance with ↓ + HS can be difficult. It is often easier to perform it as ↓ ↙ ← + S or ↓ ↘ → + S in both directions.
