Navigate the icy Nightmare Forest in Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. Find UFOs, Mementos, and Visible/Invisible Echoes to uncover the story. Includes puzzle solutions.

This section covers finding collectibles and navigating the Nightmare Forest in Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. You will encounter UFOs, Mementos, and Visible/Invisible Echoes, as well as solve a puzzle.

1. From the starting room, go through the door on the left. You are now in the Forest area.
2. Turn left and go through the door connected to the building.
3. Examine the drawer with a grey arrow over it to find the Memento: "A Broken Ward".
4. Go through the door beside the drawer. You will see the Visible Echo: "Cycle of Death" on the wall.
5. Turn 180 degrees, exit the cabin, go through the next room, and exit through the door you originally entered the cabin through.
6. Follow the path down to receive a phone call from Cybil, adding her to your phonebook.
7. Go left and follow the fence to the right until you reach a skull on a tree. Get close to find the Invisible Echo: "Cycle of Death #2".
8. Continue right to a river. Jump over it or use the bridge, then follow the path left towards a distant cabin.
9. Before entering the cabin, follow the bloodstains in the snow around to the side. On wooden pallets, find a pink wallet. Examine and open it to get a key.
10. Return to the front of the house, unlock the door, and go through it. Save your game here, as you are entering the Nightmare world.
11. Go to the end of the cabin and approach the shadow on the floor. This triggers a cutscene where the world turns icy.
12. To make Shadows less alarming, turn off your flashlight to make them invisible.
13. CHAPTER 2 PART 2 - NIGHTMARE FOREST
14. 1) Go back outside through the door you entered. Run straight ahead towards a blue-outlined wall in the distance, slightly to the right. Climb it and go through the door, then the next door on the right, and finally the door on the left to exit back outside.
15. 2) Run straight forward towards a light in the distance. You will reach a gap to jump over. Shake off any Raw Shocks that catch up. After jumping the gap, climb the ledge ahead and pick up the flare.
16. 3) Jump down the ledge and go left. Follow the train tracks on the floor until you see a climbable ledge. Instead of climbing, go through the door to the left of it.
17. 4) Go through the door at the end of the corridor, then through a set of double doors (beware of a Raw Shock). Go left under the wall and through another set of double doors, then through another set of double doors on the left.
18. 5) You will enter a large open area. Turn right slightly towards the light and follow it to jump down a ledge. Jump down the next ledge to reach the lowest point. Turn left towards another light and head towards it, jumping over a crevice. Continue this way to reach a door. Go through it and then the next door.
19. You will now be in a room with iced-over doors. Find the Invisible Echo: "Family Vacation" by checking the iced-over couple to the left of the sofa.
20. Listen to the message you receive. The answer to the puzzle is "Quack, Hoot, Squawk, Squawk, Cluck!".
21. Head to the sofa and examine the red toy on it.
