Hey there, adventurer! So you're looking to get acquainted with Cloud Ruler Temple, huh? It's a pretty significant spot in the game, serving as the main stronghold for the Blades. Think of it as a super-secure fortress, sworn to protect the Emperor and his line. Jauffre himself says it's the most defensible place in all of Cyrodiil – "A few men can hold it off against an army," he'll tell you. Pretty impressive! Location & Views: You'll find Cloud Ruler Temple perched even higher than Bruma, so expect a lot of snow and a breathtaking view. From the main path, you can see all the way down to the Imperial City. Keep an eye out northwest of the temple's west wall, near some rocks and a lookout point. There's a chest there with 5 septims and a silver plate – a little something to get you started. Amenities & Benefits: This place is a fantastic free haven for any Hero who's a Blade. You can eat, sleep, and stash your gear here without spending a single coin. Plus, there are weapons and armor scattered around that you can just take! In the basement, there's an Armory chest that's super useful, especially when you're deep in the Dagon Shrine main quest. Just a heads-up: other chests might reset over time, so stick to the Armory chest for long-term storage. Skill Training & Secrets: Want to boost your skills? You can actually train your Acrobatics skill by climbing the temple walls and jumping down. It'll cost you some health, so make sure you've got plenty of healing supplies, spells, or a comfy spot to rest for an hour afterward. Here's a cool trick: find Fortis and Pelagius, two Blades who spar in the temple. If you watch them fight together for about a minute (don't use the Wait feature for this!), you'll get a permanent +2 bonus to both your Blade and Block skills. Just hang out nearby, and once it's unlocked, you'll see a message pop up. It's a great way to get a permanent edge! Helpful Items: South of the temple, you'll find a Rune Stone that grants you Bound Dagger and Bound Gauntlets for two hours. Definitely worth grabbing if you're heading into a tough fight.
