Use your vacpack (a tool to suck up and spit out slimes and items) to interact with the environment.

Collect pink slimes, rock slimes, and tabby slimes. Look for special slimes after dark.

To make new slimes, feed a slime a different plort (the byproduct of feeding a slime). Be careful: if a slime eats two different plorts, it will become a tarr slime.

To produce plort, feed a slime food. Some slimes are picky and only eat meat or vegetables, but pink slimes are never picky.

Keep slimes in a corral. You can purchase a corral for a few newbucks (the in-game currency) at the ranch's buttons.
