Master Spelunky 2 with our comprehensive Trophy Guide. Learn strategies for unlocking every achievement, from 'The Full Spelunky' to 'Speedlunky' and 'Millionaire'.

This guide details how to unlock all trophies in Spelunky 2. Most trophies are self-evident or earned naturally during gameplay. This guide elaborates on trophies requiring special effort.

Trophies

The Full Spelunky
Obtain all other trophies.
You Got This
Unlock the entrance in a non-seeded run.
Feels Good
Make it past 1-4 in a non-seeded run.
Skills Improving
Make it past Olmec's Lair in a non-seeded run.
Persistent
Reach the Ice Caves in a non-seeded run.
Journeyman
Complete the game in a non-seeded run.
Ironman
Complete the game without using shortcuts in a non-seeded, single-player run.
Speedlunky
Complete the game in 10 minutes or less without using shortcuts in a non-seeded, single-player run.

Note: Pausing the game does not pause the timer. With 18 stages, aim for approximately 30 seconds per stage. Practice each world using shortcuts. This trophy may require abandoning usual strategies and skipping most gold and items. While technically possible with basic gear, it's difficult. Stealing from shops in 1-2 and 1-3 for Bombs, Paste, or a Shotgun is recommended. Keep Shopkeepers alive to be forgiven. For Olmec's Lair, dig a straight hole; Olmec is 4 tiles wide but destroys 5, leaving a safe space. Run into his side until he rises, retreat to the half-block space, then land on his head as he lands. For Tiamat, use a Shotgun or grab one from bodyguards on 6-3.

Low Scorer
Complete the game with no gold in a non-seeded, single-player run.

Note: This run cannot use shortcuts and is more difficult than the speedrun. Use the whip or a Rock Dog's fireball to push gold away. Avoid the Shotgun. Use thrown objects to pull gold. Avoid Bombs unless necessary, and only target tiles without gold. Olmec is risky; stay far back when he crushes the ground. Steal from a Shopkeeper in 1-2 or 1-3 and get forgiven. A Jetpack is recommended for precise landings. Avoid the Jungle due to foliage obscuring gold. Kill Hired Hands immediately. Dark levels are difficult due to low visibility, added Scarabs, and wall torches. Be cautious of Scarabs near backroom doors; use invincibility frames if needed. Using a Camera on a Scarab yields its gold.

Pilgrim
Reach the Sunken City in a non-seeded, single-player run.
Master
Complete the game by defeating Hundun in a non-seeded, single-player run.
Awakened
Reach the Cosmic Ocean in a non-seeded, single-player run.
Excavator
Complete the Moon Challenge in a non-seeded run.
Torchbearer
Complete the Star Challenge in a non-seeded run.
Survivor
Complete the Sun Challenge in a non-seeded run.
Millionare
End a run with $1,000,000 or more in a non-seeded, single-player run.

Note: Ghosting Tusk's vault yields $600,000-$700,000. Completing the game adds $100,000. Aim for ~$300,000 by 6-3 by scouring levels and limiting spending. Golden Idols and Ghost Pots help. Sparrow's questline can yield Tusk's Idol for $40,000, which can be quadrupled with a Clone Gun ($160,000) or saved for other targets. The City of Gold (Temple route) offers abundant gold; each destroyed block is worth $875.
