Master Spiritfarer with essential tips on bouncing, fast travel, harvesting water, and managing your spirits and buildings.

Bounce: Long press the jump button when you are about to bounce off a surface. Release the button before it turns into a glide. When you're about to bounce off again, long press the jump button again.

Buildings: For buildings where you can create more than one of the material, the cost will double with each additional building. Salvaging upgraded buildings does not give you resources back for the upgraded materials. You can salvage the Orchard and get back your base materials, but you will lose any upgraded materials, and you will need to re-upgrade when you rebuild.

Fast Travel: Go to a bus stop symbol on the map when it is glowing.

Foundry: It is better to be under the target than over. You will almost always fail if you overshoot. There is no penalty except time wasted.

Harvest (Water): Hold the jump button and the down button while in the water.

Kitchen: The top-right of the screen will show you when cooking is done, and you will also hear a ding. Food can go bad if you leave it too long. When you get the Cellar, this can be mitigated.

Orchard: Orchard trees cannot be cut down or replaced. It is recommended to plant one seed of each type, building an extra orchard as needed.

Sheep: Once you get sheep, they will eat certain crops until you get a Sheep Corral. A Sheep Corral fits one sheep, so keep that in mind before you recruit more sheep.

Spirits: If a spirit gives you something, like Atul giving you planks, you may need to talk to the spirit a few times. Talk to a spirit if you see them off the boat, and they will tell you what they plan to do, such as grab berries or make fabric. Ring the bell in front of the cabin to wake up spirits in the morning.
