Part 6

World 1-1: Start by jumping on Goombas and hitting blocks for coins and a Propeller Mushroom. Proceed right across spinning ground to encounter more Goombas and your first Koopa. Enter the middle pipe of the moving ground to reach an underground section.

In the underground section, find your first P Switch. Hit it to turn bricks into coins and coins into bricks temporarily. Jump to the P Switch without collecting too many coins below, then hit the switch and use the new bricks to reach coins above. Collect lower coins after the switch wears off and exit via the right pipe.

Attack enemies to the left for points and coins, then jump past green pipes. Hit the middle brick above for coins and ascend the hill to the midway flag.

Slide down the hill, hitting Goombas and blocks for coins and a Propeller Mushroom. Use a spin jump to reach the first Star Coin above, then follow a coin trail through the air with another spin jump.

Choose the low path for coins or the high road for a red coin ring that leads to eight red coins. Collect them quickly for a reward.

Perform another spin jump for coins and drop to a moving ground section. Wait for a pipe to appear below and ride it until you pass a fake wall on the right. Collect three hidden 1-Up Mushrooms and coins, then return left and down the pipe.

Use your wall-jump ability by moving towards pipes in mid-air and pressing jump to bounce off them. Repeat this to reach the second Star Coin, then return up the pipe.

Hit a brick in a hidden section for a 1-Up Mushroom. Exit to the surface and note the appearance of the fake wall. Ascend the next hill to a background fence, then spin jump to a platform with an arrow sign. The third Star Coin is directly above this platform. Slide down the hill and take a running jump to the Goal.

World 1-2: Slide down the initial hill to defeat Goombas and enter a pipe.

Obtain the first Ice Flower from an item box and use it on a Goomba. Navigate past purple crystals that rock back and forth. Look high for the first Star Coin and follow coins to your first POW Block. Use it to defeat enemies and collect coins.

Continue past a Koopa and Piranha Plants to reach your first Tilt Lift. Jump on it, then tilt the remote to control the platform. Collect the Ice Flower above if needed. Tilt the right end of the Tilt Lift up as you jump to enter a pipe.

Jump beside a lone brick to reveal two hidden blocks. Jump up to them and use a running jump for coins. Hit the P Switch to swap coins and bricks, then dodge a falling Goomba and quickly jump for the second Star Coin. Collect remaining coins and take the next pipe down.

Perform a running slide (duck) under bricks for coins, then hit the midway flag.

Defeat more Goombas and Koopas, passing an Ice Flower item box. Carefully jump across pits and stomp bricks to enter a green pipe below.

Hit the POW block to send coins down to your level. Grab the third Star Coin as it falls. Defeat Goombas for points and proceed up the next pipe. Jump past a Piranha Plant and use the tilt lift to collect red coins and a Fire Flower.

Enter the pipe and use a running jump with the next tilt lift to reach the goal.

World 1-3: Grab coins and hit the block above the pipe for an extra coin. Defeat your first Hammer Brother while dodging hammers. The small pipe after him contains a 1-Up Mushroom (as Mini Mario). Collect more coins and defeat a Goomba.

Obtain the first Yoshi from an item box and eat fruits and enemies. Jump to the first Star Coin above a pipe.

Eat more fruits and enemies. Yoshi cannot swallow Koopa shells, so spit them back to defeat enemies. The next item box contains a Yoshi, or a Super Mushroom if you're already riding Yoshi. Defeat another Hammer Brother, potentially spitting his hammer back. Watch for Piranha Plants and reach the midway flag. Use Mini Mario in the pipe after the flag for underground coins.

Beware of Piranha Plants near the trio of green pipes. Walk through a wall and go down a yellow pipe.

Use a spin jump (with Propeller Mushroom), jump with Yoshi, or bounce off a friend (in multiplayer) to reach the second Star Coin. Go up the next pipe to return to the surface.

Grab a Yoshi from the item box and avoid the fire-spitting Piranha Plant. Eating this Piranha with Yoshi allows you to spit fireballs. Jump up ledges and right to a hidden chamber in the wall.

To reach the secret goal, go back left to exit the stage.
