Part 12

Follow our comprehensive guide to navigate Part 12 of Tales of Graces f, including Yu Liberte, Strahta Desert Ruins, and the Dispater boss battle.

Continue back to the north west as you were before you got swallowed. There's a Veggie Set right by where you reached when swallowed. To the west is a Banana Tree which is Discovery #37 and carries with it Skit #103. A Blazing Crystal is in a chest right by it.

Way east of there is a chest with 1080 gald, and southeast of there is a chest with Syrup Bottle x2. After collecting these, head west and then north to reach a save point. Just ahead of that is Yu Liberte.

Yu Liberte

Talk to the Turtlez on the way in if you need to stock up on some things. Go North after that to the commercial district. The item and equipment shops are to the east, while the inn is to the west. Go to the inn and look at the snowman to the left of the save point for Discovery #39 and Skit #106. Talk to the innkeeper for a couple Inn Requests. Exit and go to the shops now. The equipment shop has stairs going nowhere. If you walk to the left of the bottom of the steps, you'll find a secret path leading to Magic Carta No. 34.

Go north now to the Residential District. To the left is a Red Wine Estate. Enter and talk to the maid for Cheese x3. Check the drawer near the exit for Onion x3. Exit this building and enter the White Wine estate just below. Check the drawer here for Cheese x3. Feed the cat by the stairs some seafood.

Exit the White Wine estate and go to the right side to find the Oswell manor. Around the side is a Lassamble Seed, necessary for Side Quest #56. Enter the manor and check the table for the Water Goggles attachment. Exit the manor and go north to the Government District. Take the east road here to reach the north gate of the city. Turn right and go south by the Turtlez near the boat to receive a Ba'ul Plushie, necessary for Side Quest #61.

Return to the government district and go north now. Underneath the water fountain you will find Skit #104, Discovery #38 and Skit #105. Enter the Presidential Palace now and talk to the man at the door. After the scene, enter the president's chamber and watch the scene there. Go behind his desk for a chest, the password here is "duplemar" to get a Book of Restriction. Leave the chamber and watch the scene. Afterwards, watch Skit #107 and leave the palace. Head south for a scene.

Move back to the residential district and talk to the two people under the fountain. After, enter the Oswell manor for Side Quest #4. Continue back into the business district to see a scene to the left of the fountain. Afterwards, go back to the government district and talk to the people underneath the giant shade thing. Go west from here to the exit and watch the scene there. You will find yourself in the inn. Check the save point for Skit #108.

Return to the President's Office and talk to him. After the scene, leave the city through the west exit.

Strahta Desert (West)

Skit #109 can be seen at the save point. Follow the desert southwest and you'll come across a chest to the north of the screen with 1151 gald. A little farther along behind a cactus is a Silver Scabbard. Keep going for a Turtlez and a check the thing that looks like people for Discovery #40 and Skit #110.

There is a Save Point directly south of you. Further along is a chest with an Orange Ribbon. When you reach a "fork" so to speak by some bones and pillars, go south for a Bluster Crystal and north for a Stone Charm. Eventually some weird stone blocks will shoot up out of the ground and block your way. Just go around them and to the North for an Upper Quarry Stone. A Core Fragment is further ahead.

Soon after you reach the Save Point and then just ahead is the Strahtan Desert Ruins. As per usual though, I recommend you sparkle grind along the way for Magic Carta Card No. 10.

Strahta Desert Ruins

Wach the scene, Skit #111 is right afterwards. Go forward and if you want to buy things, the Turtlez to the north will oblige. If not, go to the east at the fork and continue. Head north and you will reach the first puzzle.

First, step on the yellow block. You will get Skit #374. After, step on the blue block and then walk across to the other side. Continue east and take the upper path at the next fork for a Red Scarf. South at the next fork and go all the way straight east. Check the chest here for a Freeze Charm.

Now backtrack a little and take the right side stairs. You should be underground below a bridge. Go around to the left and up the left stairs for a Possessed Crystal. Go west from here to reach the second puzzle. Step on the yellow, then on the red. If you notice the blocks fall after you step off, its because you walked too far away from the puzzle. Lastly, step on the blue to go across.

On the bridge here are some flames. Check the top left one for Discovery #41 and Skit #112. Further left is another puzzle. The solution to this one is Red, Yellow, then Blue. Open the chest for a Battle Tunic. You could continue to the west here for more chests, but we can't get to them now. In that case, go up the stairs here and do Red, Blue and Yellow to solve it.

West from here is a save point with Skit #113. After this, head north for a boss battle.

BOSS BATTLE: DISPATER

There are two of them. This can be a tough fight, basically you'll have to learn their attacks which are difficult to dodge. Many of your attacks as Asbel won't connect with their target as they are both flying. Be sure to use vertical moves like Lightning Blade to ensure connection. Eventually they may kick in Nova Barriers so it will be necessary to try and have something like that around. Try and set your strategy so that 2 party members attack one enemy and the other one follows you so they can't wreak havoc by themselves.
