Changing the Time of Day in Tchia

Unlock the Ukulele: Early in Chapter 3, you'll reach Tre's Camp. Here, you'll play a Music Sequence with Tre. Don't sweat it if rhythm games aren't your thing; you can skip it. The basic idea is to use the left analog stick to highlight a chord and press Square to play the note. Just hit the notes when the highlighted node is inside the target area. Accuracy isn't super critical here, which is a relief!

Master Rock Balancing: After the music bit, you'll meet Tre in his garden. This is where you'll tackle the Rock Balancing Challenge. Your goal is to stack rocks to fill a gauge on the right side of the screen. The good news? You can't actually fail this challenge, so just keep trying until you succeed. (Or, you know, skip it if you're in a hurry!) Successfully completing these challenges is how you learn new Soul-Melodies, which have all sorts of cool effects.

Play Soul-Melodies to Change Time: The first set of Soul-Melodies you learn are specifically for controlling the time of day. To play them, press Right on the Directional Pad to bring up the Soul-Melody menu. You'll see the chord chart at the bottom, showing the four different times of day and the note sequences for each. Just like before, use the left analog stick to highlight the chord and press Square to play the note. Keep in mind there's a cooldown period before you can play the same melody again.
