Step-by-Step Walkthrough:

  1. Deploy Your Construction Yard: Your Construction Yard is already deployed at the mission start point, typically near a rich Tempest field. Its initial location is usually pre-determined for optimal early game access to resources.
  2. Construct a Tempest Refinery:
    • Action: Immediately open your build menu (default key: 'B') and select the "Tempest Refinery" from the "Resource" tab.
    • Placement: Place the Tempest Refinery as close as possible to the densest Tempest field within your initial operational radius. Aim for a spot that minimizes the travel distance for your Harvesters. Look for the glowing blue crystals on the ground – these indicate Tempest deposits. A good starting location is often slightly to the north-east of your initial Construction Yard, near the large cluster of Tempest.
    • Cost: 150 Tempest.
    • Benefit: The Tempest Refinery is essential for processing raw Tempest into usable resources for construction and unit production.
  3. Deploy Your First Tempest Harvester:

  • Early Defense: Expect minor skirmishes. The GDF is aware of our presence. Your initial Tempest Warriors and Healers are your first line of defense. Do not overextend them.
