Directive 8020 is the fifth installment in The Dark Pictures Anthology series, set to release on May 12, 2026. This interactive drama survival horror game features space and body horror elements. The story follows the crew of the colony ship Cassiopeia, who crash-land on Tau Ceti f, a planet offering a sliver of hope for humanity as Earth is dying. They soon discover they are not alone, being hunted by an alien organism capable of mimicking its prey. The crew must survive and outwit their pursuers, facing the difficult choice of risking everyone on Earth to save themselves.

The game introduces new gameplay mechanics, including real-time threats, stealth gameplay, 5-player online co-op, and enhanced interactive cinematics powered by Unreal Engine 5. Key characters include protagonists Brianna Young (voiced by Lashana Lynch), Josef Cernan, Laura Eisele, Nolan Stafford (voiced by Danny Sapani), and Samantha Cooper.
