After completing Under Saarthal, return to the College and speak with Savos Aren. He will give you the Staff of Magelight, and the quest Hitting the Books will begin.

Arniel's Endeavor

Prerequisite: Complete Under Saarthal

Objectives: Deliver ten cogs to Arniel Gane

Speak with Arniel Gane. He needs 10 Dwemer Cogs, which can be found in Dwarven ruins, particularly the one encountered during the quest Revealing the Unseen.

Arniel's Endeavor Part 2

Prerequisite: Complete Under Saarthal and Arniel's Endeavor

Objectives: Speak to Enthir, Acquire the Staff, Deliver the staff to Enthir, Talk to Arniel

After turning in the Dwemer Cogs, speak to Arniel again. He will ask you to speak with Enthir, who will trade Arniel's desired item for the Staff of Tandil. This staff is usually found on the boss of a random dungeon. Once acquired, take the Staff of Tandil to Enthir. He will trade you the Warped Soul Gem. Give this gem to Arniel to complete the quest.

J'Zargo's Experiment

Prerequisite: Complete Under Saarthal

Objectives: Test J'Zargo's Flame Cloak spell on the undead (3/3)

Speak with J'Zargo after clearing Saarthal. He asks you to test his Flame Cloak spell on the undead three times. Find a location with Draugr, use the spell, and return to J'Zargo.

Onmund's Request

Prerequisite: Complete Under Saarthal

Objectives: Speak with Enthir, Find the staff for Enthir, Deliver the staff to Enthir, Deliver the amulet to Onmund

Talk to Onmund, who explains he mistakenly gave Enthir a sentimental amulet. Speak with Enthir. You can either persuade him to return the amulet (difficult) or retrieve a staff he wants. Head to a random dungeon and find the Grand Staff of Charming in a chest. Return the staff to Enthir, who will give you the amulet. Deliver the amulet to Onmund to complete the quest.

Hitting the Books

Prerequisite: Complete Under Saarthal

Objectives: Speak with Urag go-Shub, Find the stolen books (0/3), (Optional) Free Orthorn, Return the books

Seek out Urag go-Shub in the library and inquire about Saarthal. He will tell you that books about Saarthal were stolen by Orthorn. Travel to Fellglow Keep, east of Whiterun. Fight your way through the dungeon, dealing with an Ice Mage and Frostbite Spiders. Navigate past a dart trap and find a chest. Continue through the dungeon, encountering Vampires and a Conjurer. In the next room, deal with three casters. Descend the steps to find a mage and Wolves. Locate a locked wooden door with a chest inside. You can optionally free Orthorn from his cage by pulling the middle lever. Continue through the keep, fighting Mages and Vampires, and collecting potions of resistance. Proceed through a hallway with a Necromancer and Skeletons. In the next area of Fellglow Keep, you will face two casters and possibly an Atronarch, who explode upon defeat.
