The Synagogue area contains a significant collectible, Isaac's Letter, which can appear in different locations. This guide outlines where to find it and other points of interest around the Synagogue, including a Journal Entry opportunity. The letter's spawn location depends on whether it was picked up previously.

To find Isaac's Letter and other items:

• Isaac's Letter (Location 1 - Outpost):
  • Head north up the river towards the waterfall.
  • Look for a FEDRA truck in the water at the other end; open it to find skeletons and a letter.
  • Alternatively, outside the Synagogue, on the left, find a sign reading "Fuel Distribution."
  • Enter the doorway, go right, and climb the ladder to reach the outpost tower.
  • The note can be found in a drawer in this outpost tower.
• Isaac's Letter (Location 2 - Synagogue Interior):
  • If not found in the outpost, the letter may appear after climbing the trolley cart to reach the upper sections of the Synagogue.
• Journal Entry:
  • After using the rope to swing to the other balcony on the second floor of the Synagogue, proceed to the Rabbi's office at the far end of the balcony.
  • Interact with the calendar on the wall as you enter. Ellie will make a Journal Entry after a conversation, possibly with Dina.
• Workbench:
  • A workbench is located in an Army Tent north of the Synagogue.
• Additional Letter:
  • Continue up the road past a bridge, then take the first left.
  • Use a truck to access an upstairs apartment.
  • Search the kitchen table inside the apartment for another letter.
