Quest: Echoes of the Forgotten City

Locate Kaelen and retrieve the Tablet of Whispers in THRONE AND LIBERTY's Echoes of the Forgotten City quest. Navigate the Despair Wastes with a map fragment.

Objective: Locate the ancient city of Kaelen and retrieve the 'Tablet of Whispers'.

Steps:

1. Speak with Loremaster Elara in the Oasis Outpost. She will provide you with a map fragment pointing towards Kaelen.
2. Travel deep into the Despair Wastes, following the map's indications. The journey is long and filled with aggressive desert creatures. Consider using a mount if you have one.
3. Upon reaching the ruins of Kaelen, navigate through the crumbling structures. You'll encounter Sand Golems and Desert Scorpions.
4. Find the central temple within Kaelen. The 'Tablet of Whispers' is located on a pedestal in the main chamber. Be prepared for a mini-boss encounter with a 'Guardian of Kaelen' upon attempting to retrieve it.
5. Defeat the Guardian and take the tablet.
6. Return to Loremaster Elara.

The Guardian of Kaelen is a melee-focused enemy with a powerful ground slam attack. Dodge or block this ability. Utilize any crowd control you have to interrupt its charge-up. Ensure your gear is at least uncommon quality before attempting this quest.
