Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Center Stage walkthrough: Use the SR-25 SD silenced sniper rifle and infiltrate to disarm the bomb.
Walkthrough
- 1Proceed through the doors ahead to find outfitting boxes.
- 2Go down the hall and send your team in first to assist friendly NPCs.
- 3After a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically), cautiously advance up the hall towards enemies at the end. Some enemies will rappel; eliminate them before they reach the ground.
- 4Proceed up to the right.
- 5Stack your team on the door and order them to breach and clear. Join them and use frag grenades to eliminate the turret gunner and shield enemies.
- 6Enter the room, hack the computer, and man the turret. Reload if necessary and eliminate waves of enemies, prioritizing shield enemies' feet or heads.
- 7Once the dialogue indicates the threat is neutralized, exit the turret.
- 8Go to the outfitting box and equip the SR-25 SD sniper rifle. Have another good gun as backup. If things go wrong, be prepared to retry from the last checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death).
- 9Proceed through the next door. Position your team behind the door or elsewhere in the hall to keep them out of immediate action.
- 10Move left to another door. Snake the door (peek through the gap) and tag the soldier on the catwalk.
- 11Take cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) by the door and wait for the soldier's marker to move away before opening the door and eliminating him with the SR-25 SD.
- 12Crouch, activate night vision, and carefully exit. Locate and eliminate the patrolling guard on the upper balcony.
- 13Target the guard patrolling on the stage. Time your shot as he walks, aiming at a point in the air where he will pass. Killing him while he walks along the front of the stage is likely to go unnoticed.
- 14Eliminate the patrolling guard on the floor level to the left.
- 15Locate the final enemy by the bomb at the back of the stage. Move slightly right on the catwalk and snipe him.
- 16Once all enemies are eliminated, call your team to you. Consider having them move around the catwalk to spot any missed enemies.
- 17Fast rope down to the balcony with your team, then use the railing to fast rope to the floor.
- 18Advance to the stage and assign a team member to disarm the bomb.
- 19After the bomb is disarmed, stack your team on the door while set to Infiltrate and snake the door.
- 20Have your team flash and clear the room. Once inside, crouch and shoot enemies through the openings in the shelves. You can pick up a 500 Tactical shotgun if desired.
- 21Proceed around the corner and stack your team on the left door. Snake the right door.
- 22As your team breaches, toss a frag grenade at the shield enemy simultaneously. Throwing it late may hit your own team.
- 23Once inside, set your team to cover near you and pick off enemies. Use a thermal scan and frags if needed.
- 24Move through the other side to a room with two doors. Stack your team on the right doors.
- 25Ensure your team is set to Infiltrate for the flash and clear (lightning bolt icon) option.
- 26Position yourself next to the left door, order them to flash and clear, and enter after the flashbang detonates. This should neutralize enemies and spare hostages.
- 27Set your team to Assault and prepare for a fight on the nearby stage. Position yourself and your team behind the cover of the drums.
- 28Use your scope to eliminate enemies positioned high up first, then focus on those in the seats, shooting through them if necessary.
- 29When the fighting subsides, move your team, proceed through the doors, go up the stairs, and approach another set of doors.
- 30Snake these doors and tag two enemies. Send your team in to clear them out.
- 31Advance around the corner into a hallway to conclude the scene.
Tips
- The SR-25 SD sniper rifle, equipped with a silencer, is crucial for this section.
- If detected, you have a limited time (about a minute or less) to reach the stage and disarm the bomb before it explodes. This alternative path involves fighting additional enemies from outside and behind the stage, making it significantly more difficult.
- When engaging shield enemies, aim for their feet or heads.
- Use the environment for cover, such as boxes and railings.
- The thermal scan can help identify enemies through obstacles.
