Hey there! So, you're diving into Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception? Awesome choice! This is the third installment in the super popular action-adventure series from Naughty Dog, the folks who also brought us Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter, and the incredible The Last of Us. They really kicked things up a notch with this one.

Development kicked off back in 2010, using a souped-up version of their previous game engine. This allowed them to really push the envelope with how they handled graphics, especially when it came to fire, sand, and water. Seriously, the visuals are stunning! Just like its predecessors, Uncharted 3 snagged a bunch of 'Game of the Year' awards, and for good reason – the writing, voice acting, graphics, cinematic feel, and the story itself are all top-notch.

This adventure picks up about two years after the events of Uncharted 2. You'll be joining Nathan Drake and his trusty mentor, Victor Sullivan, on a quest that actually started way back when Nathan was just 15. That's when he first met Katherine Marlowe and Sully in Cartagena, Colombia, while searching for Sir Francis Drake’s ring. Little did they know, that encounter would set them off on an epic journey spanning from London all the way to Arabia, all in pursuit of the legendary lost city of Ubar.
