Act 1: They Can't Hide

Check your skill tree and spend skill points on desired abilities.

Explore your apartment and collect crafting items.

Hack into the laptop to obtain Audio File: Aiden Pearce 05 and the System Key from the desk.

Sleep in the bed until 6:00 am.

Exit the apartment and explore the city, using your Profiler (a device used to scan people and objects) to observe NPCs (non-player characters).

Engage in various activities, such as stealing bank information or finding collectibles like Songsneaks.

Look for potential crimes, indicated by the Profiler highlighting individuals in yellow as potential Victims or Criminals.

Wait for the crime to begin before intervening.

Warning: You must wait to intervene until the information bar on either person reaches 96% or higher, the bar turns red, and the alert icon above the criminal's head turns into a yellow exclamation point (but not before the alert turns red). If you are spotted before this occurs, criminals may not commit the act, and you will miss out on Reputation Points.

Once the crime begins, rush in before the criminal can kill the target to increase your reward.

Take out the criminal non-lethally (e.g., by running them down and using a melee attack) to further increase your Reputation.
